I suggest you read sa kanang mga HT and audiophile forum. Daghan ka makat-onon didto from setting up, do's and don'ts, positioning, calibrating, mix & matching the right receiver for the right speakers and so on. Go to pinoydvd.com. That's a good way to start. But let me just tell you nah this hobby is VERY EXPENSIVE and very addicting. Proceed with caution haha. Kana imu 15k kuwang pa na sa receiver alone. Unsaon na lang imung sub, LCR, surround, speaker wires, acoustics etc2x.

Daghan mang receiver kapilian pero kanang mga dali ra mapalit kay Denon, Onkyo, Yamaha, Pioneer. Try Classic HiFi sa ayala og Soundroom sa SM. Same company ra na sila. Pwede sad ka mangutana nila in setting up. Naa sad silay demo room aron makadungog jud ka unsay tinood na HT. Lata ra ng mga HTIB inig kadungog nimo sa demo

^ pila man pud ang price ana nila bro? piti-a ang swak sa budget nimo. kun ako, piti-on ko na para dili dako'g gasto. ok ra gyud kaayo na sya bro. kun mo palit ta'g "high or Med" end A/V system, dapat, naa ta'y A/V room (dedicated) para, sulit ang gasto labi na ang high end. kun sa normal living room lang, ah, para sa akoa, sayang lang ang atoang gi gasto kay katag ang sound. dapat, gasto man ganing dako, naa'y dedicated A/V room gyud para sulit... dili na ni "nice to have" (for show) but, "need" na (for function)... anyhow, this is just me...

now, sa imohang case, go for it bro... i'm pretty sure, you'll enjoy it. wla man ka'y lain madungan sa balay man pud na high end pa nya so, dili ka mag kisi2x'g upgrade... hehehe... for listening to music ang movies, kumbate ra gyud na kaayo sya...

"only stereo"... then, naa sya dedicated A/V room... gi patukaran mi nya'g orchestra (my kind of music during relaxation)... nanglimbawot akoang balahibo kay ang mga instruments, mura'g actual na naa sa room ug naa sa exacto na position on an orchestra... akoang gi duol ang speakers then try ug alsa (ingon man ang tag-iya w/ a smile)... ay sus, maka buktot kay pwerteng bug-ata... pag check nko sa brand... mao ni akoang nabasa... "Sonus Faber"... palit sa tag-iya kay more then 200K php for the pair... tuwingwingwing...

Maong niundang na ko sa sigeg basa sa pinoydvd kay gasto naman kaayo ning bisyoha. I cannot keep up. Nya need gyud ka ug dedicated space para sa imo HT and that is a luxury i dont have in my place.

I suggest TS try looking into HTIB from Onkyo or Receiver-Speaker packages from Yamaha if you are on a budget.

Pero as keropi said, gastos kaayo. Simple raman gamitan nako gud. Usa pa, gamay ra amo house about 40-50 sqm then, wala pud koy dedicated room. So I think kana akong gi mention nimo either anang duha nga LG or SONY both are enough na nako. Price range ana niya ligas ra gamay jud.

Pero I think, as I tested, I would go for the LG kay nindot ug reviews. Nice kaayo ang interface and features and functionality. Ako lang gikalibogan kanang usa sa iyang feature ba naa mangud karaoke, unsaon mana bro aron maka videoke ko? do I need to buy another 3rd party like magic sing?

Naa koy nakit-an sa una na yamaha bundle bro, 7.1 receiver + 5.1 speakers tag 18k lang. Wala lang gyud to player. Nya mas hinay ug output compared sa imo napilian. Pero kanang 2 nimo, abot naman ug 23k bro.

Suroy daw ug circuit city sa country mall basin naa sila.

^ about sa karaoke function, diretso na sya bro. paslak lang ta'g karaoke DVD then set sa karaoke function then kanta na... hehehe... ok ra gyud kaayo... barato ra palit nmo ato kay sale man to w/ the LED TV. mura'g 8K something for the home theater then 15K for the 32" TV (1080p)...

about sa set sa Yamaha, nice pud kaayo na. check lang ron about sa current price nila...
