dili man. 105 lumens can't make the flashlight very hot. naay certain warmness pero not enough to damage the led or the flashlight itself.

Ug para sa mga nag budget, mao ni alternative ninyo for emergency prep kit.

    - Eveready LED flashlight tag 89 pesos ra. uses 2 AA batteries, water proof and a set of battery can run over 24 hours. Yep, tried and tested it my self. Used on para sa overhead light sa akong dog na nanganak. Regular battery nga eveready (kanang color black) lasted over 24 hours before slowly dimming down. It's not very bright but it's enough for indoor and outdoor use.

Don't ever rely on plug in rechargeble flashlights. Unsaon man lang nimo pag recharge if walay kuryente?

And you better invest in Litium batteries whenever possible. Why? Alkaline or Carbon-Zinc batteries are good but it affects the performance of the light. Whenever the battery power goes down, the light becomes dimmer and dimmer until it's no longer usable. While Lithium batteries' power hover around 90% until it fully drains. Meaning, mo off ug kalit imong flashlight if drained na jud ang battery, you will not notice any dimming at all. No power wasted.

    - Pito/whistle. This little one CAN save your life whenever your stranded or lost. Use it to call out for help. This is a lot better than shouting for help.

    - Paracord. What are you supposed to do with this? Paracords are useful in emergency situations where you need to tie something up and you need a lightweight and strong rope/cord.

    - Knife or Sundang and Pliers or Wire cutters. Bisan unsa nga klase basta hait. For situations that you need to cut something. Pliers can be used to hammer something as well.

    - AA/AAA Battery operated AM/FM portable radio. Naay daghan baligya ana sa UniTop.

    - Forget about Magnesium Flint. Naay baligya nga ginagmay nga kahoy nga gamiton pang sugnod. I don't know the name pero naa na sa Carbon Market ug sa Tabunok Market. Inig dagkot nimo sa kahoy kay mo siga na siya. Get some of those and a lighter and then put it inside a waterproof container.

    - Butane stove and cannisters. Make sure daghan ka ug reserba nga canisters. Back up ang firewood and lighter.

    - Plenty of gallons of water. Medicines, tissue papers, alcohol, bleach and other things you might need for sanitation. Thinking of buying chocolates for energy? Get LALA instead. The classic chocolate. One big bar is about 7 pesos each.

Want a cheap yet effective waterproof container? Adto ug grocery palit ug Superstix kanang lunch box type ang sudlanan. I use it to store my batteries and other electronics for emergency use. Also for med and first aid kits.

Akong gi gamit nga sudlanan para sa mga pagkaon ug senina is kanang sudlanan sa dog food nga gi sud ug plastic bucket nga naay gunitanan, naa mapalit sa ace hardware sa sm. Waterproof pud na siya.

I'm sure there's plenty more I have not included here.. I'll update lang once maka remember ko.. hehe.
