Using the "Edit" button saves more space than reposting the same thread. Self-discipline? It should be applied before even posting a thread... LASHING? No need to complicate things further ZIRV. Just a perfect example, if you don't want to get lashed, don't lash. Pretty simple. Stay in compliance then we'll be fine and dandy... it isn't a double standard when you were issued a warning beforehand. Of course after the warning, I cannot just ban you since I wanted to educate the others not to fall to the trap. Had I stopped the discussion, more might have fallen prey. I am not the type who just hits the "ban" button right away if I feel that the discussion will benefit and educate more people if continued... and I certainly don't back down if people get "personal" like the way you engaged me back then.

change? what has changed? the essence remained the same for almost 4 years now... what has changed in it? like I told you before, if you don't feel like complying then leave. our rules are very simple. follow them or don't. if you don't want to comply, leave if you don't want to be moderated. we have been consistent as far as I can recall... and I have been consistent with the way I deal with people who likes to take things on a personal level... and it seems like you want to start over again.

You don't give ultimatums here, we do... don't ever give us ultimatums. The rules clearly state that if you are requested to comply, comply. That in itself is a command and not a request. You can liken us to dictators... and yes, we will be dictators when we need to be.

Cite me a case and an example... and of course, it will be applied on a case-to-case basis as we have to evaluate how to deal with a certain situation. The nature of the forums is dynamic and so is our implementation of the rules. That dynamism cannot be used as an excuse by you not to comply. Changes to suit me? Rules # 1,2,15, and 16 have been there since the rules were introduced. Do you find a rule that says "You must bow down to BeoR"? How do these rules suit me? If I am an abusive administrator I can easily ban the likes of you for posting questions which aren't substantiated by evidence... or I can easily ban you for simply questioning me.
