Sunday - Nichiyoubi
Monday - Getsuyoubi
Tuesday - Kayoubi
Wednesday - Suiyoubi
Thursday - Mokuyoubi
Friday - Kinyoubi
Saturday - Dooyoubi

since Gwyn already posted the days , ill post the counter:

Numbers: 1-10
1 - ichi
2 - ni
3 - san
4 - shi /yon
5 - go
6 - roku
7 - nana/shichi
8 - hachi
9 - kyu
10 - juu

this is the normal way for counting numbers. If this is link to an object like days, items, the way it is use is different.

For the others i wanna share another new word for the day HIROMARU.

HIROMARU denotes that something, such as a story, idea, reputation or rumor becomes widely known, popular, or widespread.

e.g.

Warui uwasa wa, sugu ni hiromaru.
A bad rumor spreads quickly.

Kanojo wa uta ga umai to yuu hyooban ga hiromatta (past tense form )
Her reputation for being a good singer spread.

Hrmm i think that should have been, Gwyn-san, won't you please teach everyone Nihongo?

minnasan = everyone

watashitachi = we, us

oshiemasu = teach, but to say oshiete kuremasenka is a polite way of asking someone to teach me something.

ni is one of the particles in Nihongo.

Some of the particles: wo(を), de(で), he(ヘ) pronounced 'e' when used as a particle, ga(が), ni (に)

Arggh... this is complicated. Me not born to impart objective lessons.

"oshiete" means teach its the "te" form of oshiemasu.

"oshiete kuremasen ka" is a polite way of saying " can you please teach us?"

hyouban means reputation if its written in hiragana ひょうばん
to yoo - basically in hiragana its spelled is "to iu"

@boredtosanity,kasabot ko gamay anang mga particles so Japanese..kasabot nasad ko gamay sa sentece construction kay self study ko..problema lang nako is gamay ra kaayo ko vocabulary...ug dili ko kahibaw anang mga politeness pag sulti..
