^they've scouted MiG-29s just last year, but I think the most appropriate fighters for the PAF are the F-16, which they are rethinking.

scouting is different from considering. narrowing down PAF's choices didn't include MiG and Sukhois. PAF knows those things are incredibly hard and expensive to maintain.

scouting IS considering. You don't scout something on the forethought that you aren't planning to acquisition something.

now "for me" PAF is rethinking buying of f16 for the reason that LIFT aircraft should be 1st to be purchase then followed by MRF.

if we only have enoung money we could have buy both.

maybe you misunderstood my "considering" part. when i say considering, i mean narrowing down choices to buy , a shortlist so-to-speak.

scouting for me pertains to window shopping.lol.

thats what the government are trying to change. its now hard to get aquisitions tungod kay daghan proseso agi-an.. so that it can minimize (if there are any) corruption. and simply talk and talks... like korupt ug mao nagyud nah are not really helpful in anyway.

^that is the meant context when I said "considering". The PAF scouted thus the idea has entertained the high echelon.

Does our country really needs F-16's or MIGS? i mean considering the expenses like maintenance? and considering its purpose?
