I should start torrenting collecting whatever this record label had been releasing to date.
very TRUE, best sounding recordings ever since from CDs to LPs, here are a couple of my faves:

Ya know? I envy you just by looking at your Miles Davis collection.
The only real physical copy I have (a cd) is Mingus Plays Piano EP.
And that's coz it's so hard to find these labels locally. All my MFSLs
    came from the 'internet'. kek.

I thought that I would be content with my monitors but I was convinced with the Jamo 290s 3.5-way
and integrate my powered Cerwin Vega VMX sub with it. Speakers will arrive in two months since it's
coming straight from Denmark. Nagpapalit kos ako igagaw tua didto nag work kay mo uli man hihi

Malonely na ni ako el cheapo Crown kay mabuwag sa sub mao assemble na sad lain powered sub
and will be using a shallow mount na. The DM40s will still be my main monitors. The new-ish Jamo will
be used strictly for classical music and as mains for movies.

Hi asa pde kapurchase og DL opm flac na pde by song ra and not by album?

Been using the Jamo & it is dull compared to my dm40s quite sadly. Not saying
they're bad, they're definitely good overall, but with a 3.5-way system (likely for
    baffle step purposes
) it lacks the low-end info. I was not expecting that from a
speaker of this size. A little eq could've gone a long way, but I am not a fan of
that coz a measley +3db @ 20-30hz has drawn lotsa power from my spare amp
which is already being pushed quite hard cuz I usually raise a +5db gain in my
preamp after setting default RG values to 0db.

I carefully chose the Jamo for its dual 8s. sigh.

Someone's interested in buying this pair though, so I'm thinking of selling this off
to that man. Maybe Im just used to monitors now that even hifi speakers sound
completely odd & colored to me.

    --- update ---

Di lang ko mo dayun ug baligya kay nibisita kagabii ang supposed buyer, grabe
sad makahangyo just because naay small dent on one of the woofer's dust cap.
Ako na lang ni gamiton. Probably build another sealed sub to match it. I'll try my
best to tame (through eq) its somewhat overbearing midbass thump.

Just arrived. I've never heard such oomph before.

QSC GX3? yeah good. Crown XLi 800? mediocre. Behringer iNuke1000? meh. Boulder? well, it's
priced as high as a Toyota Wigo so fvck that. Peavey? also meh. Even my current Gemini is not
as solidly built as this Yamaha. First ever amp I own that is 18kg. Opened the shit and it's legit.

The insides are equally demonic as the Pioneer Elite SC-LX502 that my sworn SACD-loving friend
has. It's really meaty I'm overwhelmed. Hooked the Jamo 195s & now it is actually making some
serious business. Mine's sonically sweet sounding now comparable to my friend's pair of Elac B.6
but it might have to do with my listening room though which is my living room... which is 2.5x his
    listening room.

I think I'll have my opinion on MFSL and Rhino Records as top notch sound engineering redacted.. it's Sheffield Lab yo!
I've never heard such natural sound coming from a CD pressing. It almost feels like the tracks are played by the band
in front of you. Clair Marlo was so lucky to have the legendary Doug Sax and the Porcaro brothers as producers.

For Classical Music though, none has ever come close to Deutsche Grammophon and Telarc.
