kung gidretso to jr smith after grabbing the rebound, he could have gotten blocked by durant or he could have missed and then the game still goes to OT or he could have made the basket and gsw gets the last play and still sends the game to OT or miss a shot and lose, or worse, gsw could have made a 3 point play on a last seconds and win. But the possibility of jr getting buckets after that rebound is so low that he didn't risk it.

either way, there was almost no guarantee that the cavs could get a win on any of that play.
jr could have passed the ball to lebron to make the play but who's to say if he makes the basket or not within that timeframe?
point is, there was 14 million possibilities that dr. jr strange saw on that play.

Had Hill made that 2nd FT though it would sure as hell make the difference.
