    Candles

Candles often reveal a sense of mystery, romance, or supernatural guidance regarding the setting in which they appear. The candle can also be a symbol of providence or security as it may illuminate circumstances. If the candle has an unusually large flame, the fire may be the central image.
Do the candles have a ceremonial feel to them? If so, other aspects of the dream may be requiring reverence.
Is someone else holding a candle or candles? Often a symbolic gesture by a dream character-such as holding a candle-will indicate that they are there to lead you.
To see a burning candle in your dream signifies that good luck and hope will be coming your way in small and steady amounts. You are in a comfortable stage in your life and may be seeking spiritual enlightenment. Lit candles are also symbolic of intellect, enlightenment, awareness or the search for truth.
To see an unlit candle denotes feelings of rejection or disappointments. You are not utilizing your fullest potential. If you try to light the candle, but it won't light, then it represents grief. You are in denial about something. To see a candle blow out in your dream indicates that you are surrendering a significant aspect of yourself. You are letting go of something that used to be important to you.
To watch the candle burn down to nothing in your dream signifies your fears of aging and dying. Alternatively, it represents a fear of sexual impotence.
To see a red colored candle in your dream symbolizes some intimate or romantic relationship. You may not be giving the relationship a fair chance and are dismissing it before you invested sufficient time to learn more about the other person. On the other hand, you may just not be feeling any chemistry or passion.

    Gold

Gold is the universal symbol of purity and wealth. The acquisition of gold may be a display of power or wealth. The source of the acquisition as a conquest, gift, or discovery is important.
Equally important is the sacred element that comes into play. How is the gold used and what kind of wealth or power does it represent in the dream? It may be that you get a golden helmet, similar to Don Quixote's. This is an archetypal form of sacred power for completing a mission or hero quest.
Did you find, lose, give, or receive an article that is made out of gold?
Did the object make you feel better or worse?
To see gold in your dream symbolizes wealth, riches, natural healing, illumination and/or spirituality. It is also a symbol of love, longevity and domestic bliss. Negatively, gold may represent greed, corruption and temptation.
To find gold in your dream indicates that you have discovered something valuable about yourself. This may be some hidden talent or knowledge.
To bury gold in your dream suggests that you are trying to hide something about yourself.

    Home

A lot of things can happen to your home in a dream. It can be built or purchased, destroyed by the weather or war, or conquered or overrun by invaders. Most dreams about homes occur when there is transition, instability, or significant growth occurring in waking life.
A home overrun is often reflective of instability in the dreamer's relationship to the world. Feeling overwhelmed is not unusual. However, if overwhelmed is the chronic condition of your life, then being overrun by a particular sort of person or animal may reflect the source of waking anxiety.
The home destroyed may come with geographic relocation, financial pressures, death, or divorce. In these dreams, the home is being pulled apart or somehow losing its ability to provide safe haven. If this dream is occurring in your life, it is worth looking at what influences are stressing your life and the effect they are having on your waking life.
A home built is an expansive view of what is happening in your life. Perhaps you are feeling an upswing in your job or financial base that will allow you to acquire additional opportunities. Perhaps a relationship is or will be changing from dating to nesting. In any case, the home-building dream should be considered a positive one.
Because homes are often a symbol of feminine influence or the womb, interpretive questions arise logically from transitions. Are you or your partner pregnant and needing a nest for the expected progeny? Do you feel a need to involve yourself in a significant relationship with another? Do you feel rootless or too set in your ways?

To see your home in your dream signifies security, basic needs, and values. You may be feeling at "home" or settled at your new job or environment. Alternatively, the dream represents your basic needs and priorities.
In particular, to see your childhood home, your hometown, or a home that you previously lived in indicates your own desires for building a family and your family ideologies. It also reflects aspects of yourself that were prominent or developed during the time you lived in that home. You may experience some unfinished feelings that are being triggered by some waking situation. Alternatively, the dream may represent your outdated thinking.
To dream that you cannot find your way home indicates that you have lost faith and belief in yourself. It may also signify a major transition in your life.

    Earth

The Earth has numerous symbolic roles in dream language. Mother Earth and Mother Nature are idioms used to describe the Earth as a source of life. In dreams, this often translates to the Earth as a source of our being. Other dreams of earth include worry over having a home, being outcast, or chaos dreams involving the end of the world.
Dreams that include fear of environmental destruction may appear because of news garnered from the daily headlines.
To notice the earth in your dream indicates that you need to be "grounded" and realistic. Perhaps your sense of stability and security is lacking. Consider the consistency of the earth for additional significance on how you are feeling. If the earth opens or separates, then it represents a project or relationship that you are afraid of falling into.
To see the planet Earth in your dream signifies wholeness and global consciousness. You are interconnected with the world.
To dream of the Earth's core symbolizes suppressed anger. You are holding in a lot of negative emotions.

    Zipper

Zippers are a convenient, yet potentially frustrating or painful, invention of the fashion world. Dreaming of zippers is often dreaming of efficiency, convenience or maintaining a well-groomed personal appearance. However, if the zipper is stuck, it can become a dream of being thwarted, feeling incompetent and lacking problem-solving resources.
To see a zipper in your dream implies sexuality and sexual innuendos. If you are unzipping, then it indicates that you are opening up. If you are zipping up, then it suggests that you are closing yourself off emotionally. Alternatively, the dream may be a pun that you need to keep your mouth "zipped." You are talking too much.
To see a broken or stuck zipper in your dream refers to your difficulties in expressing your sexual desires or feelings. You are frustrated about not being able to resolve a situation or problem. You may also have difficulty in maintaining your composure, especially in an awkward or public situation.

    Sending Coded Messages

We all go through times of struggle against the world. In these times, we are inclined to hold our cards pretty close to our chin. In dreaming, this may be expressed as sending coded messages or communication.Privacy is a tenuous feature in this world. The need for human association calls us toward exposure, while our need for personal security draws us to pull the shades.
Consequently, we simultaneously expose and cover through coded communication.
This dream may reflect a feeling that only one or two people in your life can comprehend your deepest thoughts and fears. Another scenario is that you are looking for a safe way to express guilt. A third option is that others cannot comprehend your meaning.
Who is the message for and why did it need to be coded?
Did the receiver understand the code?
Were you in captivity, spying, or trying to conceal your meaning in a public forum for other intentions?
This may indicate that the code is a metaphor for a deeper sense of relationship you share with certain others in your life or profession.
