meanwhile DC is making Superman more interesting by introducing more flaws into his character. Yes, he may be the "strongest", but he doesn't have flash's cool personality, Wonderwoman's faith, Green Lantern's discipline, Hawkgirl's iron will or Batman's intelligence and cunning.

Superman has more discipline than the Lanterns. Hal Jordan(the 1st human GL) became evil and almost destroyed the Green Lanterns as well as space time itself by becoming Parallax. the other Lanterns as well have surrendered to other forms of temptation easily(Kyle Rayner became Parallax II). Superman also has more willpower than Hawkgirl or any Lantern. he's been stated to have the most powerful willpower in the universe, which has been proven time and again after every Earth, galaxy, universe or even a multiverse shattering event.

personality is a matter of preference. and lol faith.

as far as comics go anyway, obviously not the same for the cartoons and the movies which what people here in the Philippines are most familiar with.

Goku can only be ressurected through the Dragon Balls, he can't just return whenever he wants to. if he dies a third time, he probably won't come back from it since the Dragon Balls have a limit.
and the reason why he became stronger after coming back from the dead was because he trained for years in the after life.
