Top 10 of this season's 3 pointers (3 pt %)
1. Brandon Rush , GSW - .524
2. Mike Miller , MIA - .518
3. Ray Allen , BOS - .485
4. Jordan Farmar , NJN - .467
5. Mario Chalmers , MIA - .465 -- 3 point Shootout contestant
6. Klay Thompson , GSW - .452
7. Matt Bonner , SAS - .451
7. Jeff Teague , ATL - .451
9. Stephen Curry , GSW - .450
10. JJ Redick , ORL - .445
So most of the players on the Top 10 probably doesn't have someone lobbying for them to be in the contest . Josh Smith claimed that no one was lobbying for him that's why he wasn't on the All-Star roster .
Contestants for this years' 3 Point Shootout Contest -- except for Chalmers
16. Ryan Anderson , ORL - .437
32. Anthony Morrow , NJ - .402
54. Kevin Durant , OKC - .371
Unranked. Kevin Love , MIN - 378
Unranked. James Jones , .420 -- weird , I know but he's not on the list .
Unless he turned down the offer to be in this contest , the guy got snob this year is Ray Allen . At his age , he still maintains a great 3 point percentage . But no casual fans would want to see him competing at this 'hip' event now that he's old and his team is below .500 . Kevin Durant will be on this contest which make it so dumbfounded .
