kindly refrain from rephrasing my posts because those are my opinions.pls respect those too.

now you are negating yourself.... you espouse that marriage is binding before God and man... yet you say.. IF you are SEPARATED from your PRESENT marriage... ngita ka lain? eh di ba adultery tawag dun?

ang akin sinasabi... you MAKE it sound like such a "burden"... such a "problem".... to which the original intention of marriage is it is not. and btw... though i know that you and countless others probably have NO CHOICE kay as you say... we live in the philippines and are bound by the laws of the land... and cannot "buwag" from their partners.... there are also countless others who have more joys than sorrows.

Pastilan, kun inyo mind-set mao nga marriage is a burden or negative whatever, ayaw na lang mo pagminyo. Para nako, marriage is forever. I accept though, that marriage is a bed of roses...daghag tunok pero nindot. Divorce? Separation? Sus, ayoha lang ninyo ug pili inyo partner oi aron walay mahay.

makapili jud bitaw ka bro...pero your partner is a separate person..di man na siya sumpay sa imong tina-e, sakto? meaning, maka decide na siya ug iya. pananglit lang ug nikalit lang imong partner ug pangabit, basulon diay nimo imong tina-e? (na unsa na ni akong analogy oi)

marriage is forever in a perfect world. but this is a fallen world...aware man kaha ka nga 60% na divorce rate sa U.S.? nakabalo man kaha ka nga na annul na kasal nila martin ug pops ug kinsa pa na ubang artista diha?

taga-e lang sad imong kaugalingon ug gamayng reality check, bro.

i don't see marriage as a burden and i don't think that all people who are for divorce have that mindset either , me myself is married for 10 yrs already. unfortunately some just don't make it for a reason and are better off going their separate ways even if these people chose their partners thoroughly.

    Para nako, marriage is forever.
good for you but there are circumstances in some marriages that are beyond their control and has to end it.

marriage is not at all beds of roses, you have to work on it, compromise a lot and put it first before anything else. sayon ra pag ingon ayoha pili inyo partner.

i'm one of those people, i don't see it as a burden, challenging yes, that's the difference, compare the two together it doesn't mean the same. if you think it's a burden then why marry in the first place?
we have this discussion it's because there are just some marriages that just don't work out due to whatever circumstances they have and are better off without t each other.

Congrats! I see that you now know how to "quote." Ang tawag dyan "quote" and not "rephrasing."

Anyways... bro, kung you think that marriage is a burden... WHY OH WHY did you marry in the first place? And please ha... dont tell me that "you never thought it would end up this way." Dont tell me you didnt ask your own parents about how burdensome their marriage is?

How can a catholic think that a blessed sacrament INSTITUTED by God Himself be a burden? Is that not disrespecting the Lord?
