thanks for the elp
based from experience working in the middle east...
Better to work first in the Philippines to gain knowledge and expertise in your profession before planning to work abroad. Working abroad is very different from the Philippines, most companies don't offer orientation about the company, your role, your job, your expectations, you have to know/discover it on your own. You have to be innovative and resourceful. Technically though, it is more difficult working in the Philippines than in abroad provided that you really know your job, there are a lot of dull moments at the workplace here (abroad), peteks mode ba, mas dili kuti ang trabaho diri sa abroad.
Salary wise, the top two giving high salaries are Qatar and UAE. Dubai economy is still on the recovery after the recession, just take note that Dubai doesn't have or only have little oil deposits, Abu Dhabi is the one having vast amount of oil reserves, and it is on an economic boom where you can see constructions left and right. You can look for a job here by applying for a visit visa sponsored by someone here, good for 2 months plus 1 month extension, provided that you will be industrious enough to apply to as many companies as you can. Qatar and UAE are also open countries just like Bahrain, meaning it may have conservative Islamic living but also catering "Liberated" lifestyle. The laws are not too strict like Saudi and there are a lot of entertainment here like malls, amusement parks, concerts, sports activities, movies, so it's not that boring.
Living here with the scorching heat is terrible for a newcomer, but in the long run you'll get used to it, and professional workers doesn't really work outdoors, the work is done indoors with cool air conditioning, so it doesn't pose a real problem.
When you do decide to work here, just make sure you don't entertain the word "homesick" in your brain...
nice lagi ni! thank u for the updates!
