It is being reported that the Knicks may want to revisit the deal and with Thomas' style of rebuilding, we don't really know. Basin makuratan lang ta ug kalit na gnahan niya kuhaon si Latrell Sprewell. Wa ta kahibwo... as of now, he still thinks that the team needs more than it is expected.

A close look at the line-ups:
    C - Curry
    PF - Frye
    SF - Jeffries
    SG - Francis
    PG - Marbury

They have a solid second five too:
    C - JJames
    PF - Lee
    SF - Q
    SG- Crawford
    PG - Nate

And a decent string of third five:
    C - Rose
    PF - MTaylor
    SF - Balkman
    SG- JalenRose
    PG- Collins

I can see that Thomas is trying to build a defensive frontcourt and to complete his plans he might as well get Miles to execute a run-n-gun style back to the other court. But given the situation of the line-up, a decent coach can make this team into a playoff team or even a contender because they have the line-up that is deeper than a well. Considering, they have the veterans and the young minds mixed together but if Thomas continues to add more players unfamiliar with the team's chemistry, maglisod na hinuon sila ug jell kay it really needs time to put a team together.

If Thomas really wants Darius Miles, then Jalen Rose and Quentin Richardson are the odd men out. Add up veterans ROse or Taylor to spice the dea upl. But the way i see it... ganahan jud ko sa line-up nila. What they need is a mentor who can guide these kids and make them into one of the top 10 teams in the league, if not the better, not some whacko or a circus clown coach like Thomas. He's juggling his players out there.

.... what now for the USA?? in terms of sports that is, Basketball is their game, they own it, but look at their performance for the past decade?? After that infamous Dream Team of Jordan, Bird and Magic. USA basketball is on a downhill. They have all the talent and all of the hot-aire and aire-heads. Bad combination.

It's a totally different basketball for them nowadays. The famed Dream Team, or should i say Ultimate Dream Team of Jordan, Magic and Bird had a combination of passion, chemistry, wisdom and understanding. That is old school basketball, more on fundamentals. Right now, it's completely new school... it's all about self redemption, self projection and egos. Don't get me wrong, some of those guys out there in the present Dream Team displays the type of a classic teamplay, but today, they lost the team effort for it. And the new minds of basketball are dominating that culture.

It's the new generation of basketball in the NBA... and stardom awaits.

yep correct, these young kids are great but they lack chemistry, fundamentals and they dont know how to let their ego land.

I remember back in 1992 when jordan was averaging 31 to 35 points per game in the NBA but when he played at the Olympics he Ave. only 10 to 12 points a game. mao nay example sa pag paubos. and the result they won the gold effortless.

I saw them play against Brazil hapit masikwate, sa ako lang tan aw medyo bias gamay an refs, imagina sa 20 seconds daghan kaayog freethrows ang US and that cost the Brazilians to lose that game.

lig on btaw to ang dream team 2, di baya kaayo to daghan sila og superstars pero nindot lang gyud ang ilang players kay kasabot sila sa duwa.

what the US needs is not necessarily a bunch of superstars but those who really understands the game plus they need pure shooters and a dominant power forward or center para ang ilang duwa inside outside. simple ra man kaayo kay kung dominant ang big men sa team mo draw gyud na siya og double teams leaving open shooters.

like for example ang DT1 they have the inside play barkley and robinson and they have pure shooters like bird and mullen and the playmaking of stockton and magic johnson and naa sad sila penetrator like jordan and dexler. mao nay team.

karon gud ang nakadaot pare pareha sila og position kasagaran, arenas, james, melo, wade.. unsaon ma na nimo pagdivide ang ilang minutes. puros na sila maayo pero daghan ra kaayo sila. they need role players who will do the dirty work. murag si bowen ra man role player, sayang si marion daghan unta to siya matabang a good rebounder maayo mo steal he really reminds me of socttie pippen pero dili lang kaayo reliable iya jumpshot.
