Spurs sit Duncan against Mavs because of sore knee
SAN ANTONIO (AP)—San Antonio forward Tim Duncan missed the Spurs’ game against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday with a sore right knee.
The Spurs provided no other details in making the announcement shortly before the game. It is the first game Duncan has missed because of injury this season.
Duncan’s injury left the Spurs without two of their top three scorers. Manu Ginobili is out with a stress reaction in his right ankle and is expected to miss another few weeks.

tsk tsk tsk... i hope the Spurs can still get a win for this game
***Breaking news***
Pops Mensah Bonsu signed by the Spurs.

Over at GWHoops, Mister Days says Pops has been signed by the Spurs, who are Austin's mother team. Pops has been tearing it up in the D-League, including 39 and 18 in his last game (yes, 39 points) so I hope he gets some time with the NBAers. I've also read that he's been hitting midrange jumpers, and his free throw percentage is 70%.
Next game, probably. I don't see him in the list of players. But definitely he's not playing with the Toros tonight.
so hopefully mka apil na siya sa lineup this coming thursday vs Portland.
^ Yeeeeap. Crossing my fingers on that.
Tony-watch: 26 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists going into halftime. Hope he breaks his personal best tonight.
No Duncan; no Manu; no problem! Spurs win 93-76 versus the Mavs!
