I am just awed by his rich literary works and his interesting life which inspires me to go out of my shell and expand my horizon if I want to see what's really out there. Too bad though, there are some endless debates that he isn't really deemed to be a true hero because of his circumstances in life as opposed to other unsung heroes who rather used the sword to fight for our fellow Filipinos.

The majority of us Filipinos always associate heroism with bloodshed and battle cries when in fact we can be heroes in our own ways without the use of violence. It always lies in our faith of the cause that we fight for and not solely on actions as we are all accustomed to.
