Chicago wins it's first, Detroit loses it's first. The difference in the game so far was the bench. Chicago's bench outscored Detroit's, 31-13. Chicago survived Rasheed Wallace's 36 point performance though. Tyrus Thomas had a big game leading the Bulls with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Chicago improved to 1-4 while Detroit fell to 3-1.

Meanwhile, Gilbert Arenas, who was nominated as the one of the Best Celebrity Bloggers has yet to win his first game of the season. Arenas and Caron Butler finished with 21 points apiece while Antawn Jamison led Washington with 24 points in a losing effort against the New Jersey Nets who drew 25 points from Richard Jefferson and 24 from Vince Carter. Jason Kidd finished the game with 10 assists for the Nets. New Jersey went up to 4-1 while Washington fell further to 0-4.

As of now, only Boston and the Los Angeles Clippers are the only teams who are left unbeaten meanwhile Washington, Miami, Seattle, Minnesota, and Golden State are the winless teams.

Dallas edged Golden State and the Warriors remained winless in the season. Jason Terry delivered the goods once again. Terry finished with 24 points for the Mavericks off the bench.
