hahaha! ang ako idol jud kay si LA tenorio. from 1st year to 5th year kay impact player jud, mura wala niagi ug rookie stage. pag rookie year gud niya sa game 3 sa finals, ni-explode ug 33 pts. sayang lang kaayo kay after nigraduate sila enrico, rich ug wesley 2 years after, wala nay player nga ni-peak nga naa pa sya. na-injured pa jud si larry sa iyang last year. and if i'm not mistaken, sya ang last nag triple double sa uaap pag 2005 kontra ang FEU ni arwind santos. hehehe!

crypt, dili to 2005 but 2004 to... 2005 is mao pud nga year nga nisulod si larry sa PBA as red bull and he won the rookie of the year award.

yep, i know. i was referring to the triple double in 2005. LA got the triple double post-larry days na. hehehe!

larry's last year was in 2004 when he got injured. larry was supposed to be the king eagle that year but tragedy happened so LA had to carry the cudgels. mao gani sayang kay peak pud unta to ni larry nga year kay siya na ang modala sa ateneo.

sorry kay libog akong previous post. hehehe!

Ateneo, a win away from bagging its first UAAP crown in six years, will have three more reasons to celebrate with another victory against La Salle tomorrow.

The league will officially fete Eagles Rabeh Al-Hussaini, Chris Tiu and Ryan Buenafe as three of the best performers in Season 71 in tomorrow’s awarding rites in Game 2 of the UAAP finals at the Araneta Coliseum.

The 6-6 Al-Hussaini, a Fil-Kuwaiti, is this year’s Most Valuable Player, Tiu a member of the Mythical First Team and Buenafe the Rookie of the Year.

“Yes,” said Ateneo board representative Ricky Palou when asked by The STAR if Al-Hussaini has clinched the league’s highest individual plum.

“I got the list of all awardees, and (Ryan) Buenafe is Rookie of the Year.”

Last year’s MVP Jervy Cruz of University of Santo Tomas and La Salle’s JV Casio and Rico Maeirhofer will join Al-Hussaini and Tiu in the dream first team cast.

“Imagine Al-Hussaini, Cruz, Maierhofer, Tiu and Casio together, that’s a dream team ,” Palou said.

Marichu Bacaro of UST and Mark Juruena of Adamson, meanwhile, will be named MVPs in the women’s and juniors’ divisions, respectively.

Studio 23, a UHL channel of television giant ABS-CBN which telecasts the UAAP and NCAA games, will also fete several others on its own, including Al-Hussaini (Most Improved Player) and Nonoy Baclao, also of Ateneo, (Defensive Player of the Year).

Studio 23 will also honor Tiu with a special citation and an all-Rookie team composed of Buenafe, Ateneo’s Nicolas Salva, La Salle’s LA Revilla and Joshua Webb and UST’s Clark Bautista.

yeah, i agree. but i'm a bit torn coz i'd also like to give credit to glen capacio for his splendid job of guiding FEU to the F4 despite the setbacks they had this season.

if i'm not mistaken, i think the coach of the year is automatically given the coach of the champion team... i could be wrong though...
