mka paranoid jud ning atm skimming, before ni siya nidako na issue na biktima ako husband ani, it happend sometime november last year. He usually withdraw money diha sa ITpark kay duol ra sa ila ofis. After work, pag withdraw niya ug money aron bayad sa rent sa haus, 4k nmn lang nabilin sa iya atm. When he called the bank, he was informed nga nag withdraw daw siya around 3am didto sa naga which is very impossible kay naa siya sa IT ni duty. Until now, we're still waiting for Metrobank to return the money. Gi pangayuan siya ug document to proved na he really did report to work that day.

what i have been doing ever since is, i opened two bank accounts (bdo), one for savings and one for checking. when i was working my pay goes to my checking/payroll account. if pay is in, i immediately transfer all my money to my savings account via online banking and leave a small or enough amount of money for my cash withdrawal. so most likely zero to less than a hundred ra ang remaining balance. then if i needed more cash, i'll transfer from each accounts lng. there's no fee in doing such, plus it is convenient just make sure you're not accessing your accounts in unsecured environment or browser sad. also too, most establishments accepts debit cards, so more or less you could avoid taking cash with you na. just be vigilant and always monitor your money online and avoid making withdrawals anywhere. little has been done by these banks as of now and if we don't find other ways, delikado na! common sense na pod tngae na ibilin ang card na daghan kaau ug sulod oi. risky ra kaau mag use ug atm na naai 50k or so na money! just my two cents.
