^best is to root your phone...
f.y.i.. all smartphones have the side effects to drain their batteries a lot... usage to usage may vary but it is all but expected that a smartphone will drain and consume much more battery juice than as compared to a ordinary and standard phone.. say the nokia 3310 or the 5210...
ana jud na kadaghanan mga smartphones na karon (even including the iphone4/4s), all gets to drain their batt at a much expected higher rate...
if d mo contento sa battery sa inyong smartphone.. then why buy the phone anyway? for show off lang? If battery life matters to you most then maypa nag 5210 nalang mo or better yet.. turn off the phone and just use it when you want to use it.. then power off napud.. hehe I'm sure it'll last you 5 days or more ing.ana nga style...
hehe, on the other hand..
I saw an extended battery for the Samsung note as well sa Samsung Center... it packs a punch than the normal stock batt.... sammy really has a marketing strategy.. sell the needed battery separately from the unit /device.. in that way, they can get more and more revenues.. unit and the added accessory..(which should have been the one included in the box in the first place.)

"it packs a punch than the normal stock batt"...
naka testing kaani bro, is this samsung orig extended Gnote batt or what is the capacity of this and what shop? bec i tried google it but theres none but mugen only. kindly elaborate what you saw or experience, salamat!
@j.abs
ang fyi nmo bro ky useless.. everybody knows that i think. ur cmparing an ordinary phone to a powerful smartphone. obviously mas dako jud ug kaon ug power ang smartphone. what i mean is that among other smartphones ang glxy note mas dali mo drain ug batt. my wife has a galaxy s. ang iya bat mo last ug maximum 2 days normal use.. ang glxy note would only las for 12hrs max (because of dual core processor, bigger screen, etc).
and its not show off lang sad.. its more on bragging rights to me. heheh magsakit ang dughan sa masuya.
im eager to have a tablet but murag gamay raman ni sya for a tablet. is it worth it? katong nakapalit na, magpangita pa ba gihapon mo ug bigger screen?
comparing your wife's galaxy S and your galaxy note is like comparing a cow from a bull... for pete's sake.. what you have is a big wide screen.. your wife's S is just a 4" of screen size... so between a 5.2" vs 4.0" screen size, which do you think consumes more power (screen alone)... go figure it out... doesnt take a kid to figure it I guess...
Also, your wife's usage (apps and etc) is different from your personal usage... she might not be as techie as you and doesn't use most of the apps on her S... just perhaps txting and making calls.. comparing your day to day usage (perhaps 3G/Wifi, txt calls, games.)..of course you will surely drain your Note more than her galaxy S.... So really, you can't compare her phone with yours kay lahi lahi ra mo ug usage....
and by the way...
Bragging to others and showing off are just cousins to each other...
I saw it being sold sa Samsung Center jud (I will withdraw the name of the Samsung center lang), the samsung salesgirl told me that it is really for the note jud. I forgot to check how much ang capacity ato pero I do confirm it is the original extended battery for the Galaxy note (released by Samsung itself)
oh.. did i said about bragging to others? some people just cant differentiate bragging rights from show off.. haha.. as ive said, magsakit lng ang dughan sa masuya.
back to tha topic.. i have already figured it out, my wife/s SGS is my old phone which ive been using for a year. now, its time for you to figure it out.
