you said "No problem with the school", but why do you complain about "pretty inconsistent" policies. inconsistent in what way? please englighten me.

you also said "I am getting good education out of it." well, if ur getting good education in usc then thats the whole point why you are in USC. do you get less from usc if u simply follow her basic rules? i dont think so.

as far as i know, those policies are very simple and basic! why cant you simply follow it. kung mo follow lang ta, way problema. basta, it all boils down to discilpine.

there are more pressing issues worth fighting for. why not complain about mga incompetent teachers, tuition fee increase, facilities, campus paper, baha sa TC etc...

and with ur example about a muslim girl who wasnt allowed entry, i think its not about the policy. its very clear that usc doesnt tolerate religious discrimination of any form. the problem there is the guard's ignorance, kuwang sa seminar.
wa na g baha sa tc... ila na g ayo..ahah
also we follow rules. but one of the issue here is the way they implement the rules. they seem to like the idea of surprising the students with new laws thus those surprised students cant enter school grounds because of newly imposed rules which was not introduced to them prior to their implementation. regarding this usc sling, this rule was NONE existent before if it was then we wouldnt be doing this at all. also many students werent able to enter school grounds because of this. but now that it has been a trending topic and with the upcoming rally. the school denied the existence of the rule which is strange since the guards wont implement rules if the admins wont say so.

pero what if d ay ifollow na lng sa carolinians ang policies aron way hasol. even if we are paying our tuition it doesn't mean that we need not follow the school's policies. We had a choice to enroll in usc if dli man kita ang nagdecide then our parents or whoever made the decision had a choice.

students do have the freedom but it does not necessarily mean that your freedom as students is as great as that of the USC administration. =)

I don't think nga surprise implementation ni kay dugay na kaayo na imprint sa handbook regarding this rules even during my time a decade ago. SO!! WHAT'S NEW!!!

Sa una gi-implement man ni but dili lang ingana ka strict just to give responsibility to the students nga should follow rules. Tingali nakita nga kasagaran sa estudyante karon wala paki-alam sa rules and regulations...

@danne1003: mu follow man sad me sa policies bsta ila pud ipa ila2 unsa nga policy ila i implement before nla i implement, dli ng kalit2 ra slag implement ug rules, nya matnga ka di nka kasud sa skul kay wa ka nag usc sling.. also admin and students are equal we have every right to complain and it is also their job to hear our complains. but in their case they are like childrens nga g sermonan sa nanay sud sa pikas dungan ang sermon gwas pud sa pikas mao way gamit. that is why it would really be for the best if the students and admins have an open forum to address this issues.

im sorry but it doesnt exist if it does ila unta na g ingon daan during orientation. also if it was implemented before then why did the admin deny implementing it?. this jsut goes to say that they do like implementing rules in a blink of an eye. there were also many case of surprise laws impelemented in the school.
