Daghan man ug subgenre pa ang Metal. Black Metal, one of its subgenres, theme is mostly anti-jewish/anti-christian sama sa Dimmu Borgir nga banda. Ok raman na ang metal uy pamili lang jud ug mga banda.

.. but to answer your question. There are people who are just good composers and there are people who are just singers and there are people who are both. Let's just talk on popular music and contemporary music, ok ?? Like Diane Warren, she is a damn good composer, but sadly for her, her vocal chords aint that good. Celine Dion is 80% just a singer, if you look at most of her records, her songs are made by other composers. But there are people who are damn lucky, those that can compose and yet can sing. Like Steve Perry, Steve Lukather, Barbra Streisand, Kenny Loggins, Bryan Adams, James Hetfield.... and to answer which is better the answer is neither. In the world of the instrumental music, you are loaded with composers, very damn good composers. While the JUST SINGERS ( people who can only sing ) are more common in the Pop industry, just look at britney spears, christina aguelera and those wannabes out there, they don't create their own music, they're just handed out songs that they will " sing ".

.. kebs, learn about music.. you'll surely enjoy it. Stop being so close minded. I haven't seen you agree on even just one opinion from another forumer, you always disagree on them.

.. ok, here's a question for you kebs ..... what can you say about Arnel Pineda Is he a singer or a composer or both
    the answer is neither.
--- "your examples are from research not from your own experience nor volition" -fingolfin
--- you dont need to experience to know, researching is very worth doing? What you are implying is that, Mr. Wikis Posts is based on research not experience like you did. Does this statement makes you better than wiki? hmmmm. You cant force me to agree with you mr. RIght.

.. kebs, learn about music.. you'll surely enjoy it. Stop being so close minded. I haven't seen you agree on even just one opinion from another forumer, you always disagree on them.
--- that is because i do not have to tell them they are right. What information can i contribute? this is not a personal advertisement... I posts because i disagree! So you want a spam "YES, AGREE!"... lols! and how many threads did I spam my posts? lols! not everythread only a handful of them... especially with the ATHIEST I enjoy talking to them...

what can you say about Arnel Pineda Is he a singer or a composer or both
--- I am not a fan of his so i am not familiar. Not my interest.

.. kebs, learn about music.. you'll surely enjoy it
--- too much to ask; may i say, LISTENING is good enough.

aguy kebs, your posts against me are slowly becoming more and more inconsistent.

and for the record, thrash metal is not purely made of satanic bands, heck i don't even think these bands ARE REALLY satanic. Ang Metallica kay thrash metal so ayaw pagtaka2x diha.

I'll rephrase this line for OPs good, OP is still in the state of shock of finding out how gruesome Heavy Metal Music is where he/she actually forgets its all about "ENTERTAINMENT". I don't understand all of this fuzz about hating Heavy Metal. It's music, there are music that you don't like to and the opposite. I personally hate Heavy Metal, but that doesn't mean I have to bring it to the point to tell my so-called "God" about how hateful I should put into it. If you hate it and its doing nothing to you, just ignore it for the sake of your own peace of mind (that is, if you don't like to keep shooting your own foot).

Now I'll just slap this nifty picture I bumped in the internet to sum up the state of the OP. Keep up the comments guys, I love reading it
