ive put up a trade to Tackielarla...
Kendrick Perkins - C
Tayshaun Prince - F
for
Andrew Bogut - C
Thaddeus Young - F
was really a Prince for Bogut trade, but had to put up Perkins to free up my center position and Young to even things up...the stats are pretty much equal.
am a fan of Bogut, was hoping to get him in my team.
I based some of my picks on individual stats since the success of their teams is really not the point in fantasy league but the monster numbers they put up and on individual brilliance...
And oh, I didn't get to pick my top 3 picks... Bhweshet...
PG - O.J. Mayo (volume shooter with the tendency to post big numbers especially with a team like the Grizz, second option to Rudy Gay. Impressive in the preseason)
SG - Tracy McGrady (heck, no one picked him. He is still the go-to-guy in Houston and with Artest and Yao, I expect his FG % to rise as well as his assists. Still has the capacity to have monster games)
SF - Vince Carter (VC has been a league freak all throughout his career and posting career averages of 24ppg, 6rpg and 5 apg, although his scoring dipped last season due to injury, his rebounds and assist went up. With Kidd and RJ out of NJ, VC is the undisputed leader and go-to-guy for the Nets and his numbers are bound to go up. Plus, he is healthy!)
PF - Jermaine O'neal (I took a gamble on this one, injury prone and all, over the impressive Kevin Love due to the fact that he is a proven all-star and 20-10 performer, not to mention a good shot blocker. Even with missing half of last season, he was able to post impressive numbers at season's end. I'm hoping that teaming up with Bosh would motivate him back to his all-star form that made him a starter in the East for consecutive seasons. If a player is motivated, he'll play through pain.)
C - Tim Duncan ( BEST BIG MAN in the league. 'Nuff said!)
Reserves:
SF - Gerald Wallace (How can you go wrong with this guy who had a breakout season this year! Posted career high in points at 19ppg plus 7rpg, 4apg his DEFENSE at 2bpg and 2spg, who the heck averages 2 blocks and 2 steals per game lately! He is without a doubt, the main man in Charlotte. With LB coaching him, things can only get better for G-Force. I smell an All-Star!)
C - Tyson Chandler (No Brainer at all! Breakout season this year and at the brink of being an All-Star and a contender for Most Improved! I expect him to average in double-doubles this season with high FG% , monster number in rebounds and those blocks!)
C - Marc Gasol ( A gamble. Impressive preseason racking up those double-doubles. Againts Darko? He's bound to get that starting spot at 5 in Memphis. I'M DANGLING HIM FOR A TRADE WITH MY IDOL, MIKE BEASLEY.)
PF - Hakim Warrick (2 season ago with Pau out due to injury he was the Grizz leading scorer and rebounder. At the brink of breaking out until getting injured last season. I expect him to be the top front court player in Memphis and it won't surprise me if he would be Memphis' leading scorer and rebounder this season.)
PG - Derrick Rose (Why would you igore this year's 1st overall pick? He might not be posting impressive numbers as Beasley or Mayo because of the hoarding of guards in Chicago. But, with his FREAKISH athleticism and speed, he is bound to get big time minutes and I'am hoping for Hinrich to be traded mid-season to open windows for a Rose to bloom. Being picked ahead of Beasley and Mayo, he must be something special. I hope.)
PF - Jason Maxiell (Breakout season this year! Expect an even bigger season this 2008-2009. Monster performance in the playoffs and was in contention for Most Improved. He was definitely better than Sheed last season and with Wallace's attitude at season's end, he might get traded and Maxiell would surely get that starting spot. Let the Pistons rebuilding commence!)
Overall, when I think about it, I think I made the right choices and I'am happy with the players I got...
I'm open for any trade talks... Post your offers...^^

Para surprising bah... I suggest transactions should be in private via PM's...^^
Mas nindot ng ma surprised ta nga done deal na diay...
Hakim Warrick?leading scorer?naahh..dude you forgot about rudy gay and o.j mayo.. i believe he's going to be the first man off the bench.. i respect your opinion though..hehe
I said, "it wouldn't surprise me"... I DIDN'T GUARANTEED it or claimed on him being their leading scorer this season... Capice?^^
One thing I'am a bit sure of is that he will most likely start at PF... Kinsa man imu e froncourt sa Memphis? Milicic at Center and Gasol at PF or vice versa for that metter Geezzz.... I mean why the hell would you start Milicic if you got Gasol and Warrick?
It is Darko, Gasol who would slug it out for the starting spot at Center.
Conley, Gay, and Mayo would round out the line-up...
Or then again, I could be wrong... I'am not a Homer Sayson (guy's an idiot)... But I do make bold statements... If I'm wrong, so be it...
Here's from wiki:
"Over the summer of 2006 Memphis lost their star forward Gasol to a broken foot, leaving Warrick as one of the team's top options as starting power forward. Warrick would play in all 82 games, including 43 starts. On December 9, 2006 against the Milwaukee Bucks, Warrick recorded career highs in points (31) and rebounds (13) and made all nine of his free throw attempts in a 100-94 loss. He later set a new career high of 16 rebounds in the Grizzlies 116-111 loss to the Phoenix Suns."
That is a big reason why he should start!

@The Goods!!!
That's why nabuang ko pag-pick nimo ni Warrick kay siya na jud unta to ako sunod kuhaon. Arrgh... He's the starting PF na karon sa Memphis and is poised for a breakout season."Over the summer of 2006 Memphis lost their star forward Gasol to a broken foot, leaving Warrick as one of the team's top options as starting power forward. Warrick would play in all 82 games, including 43 starts. And for your info diay, wala na si Kwame Brown sa Memphis. Ang depth chart sa PF in Memphis kay Hakim Warrick, Antoine Walker then Darrell Arthur.
