if you got the drive and the appetite to survive company politics..if what matters to you most are benefits you get from the company such as salary and etc...then go for it..sign up for the job
but if you have a weak stomach for such arrangements..if what matters to you is a good and healthy working environment....then it would be a huge mistake to be working for this company....

WOW!
i can't believe this thread got around!
the main reason why i started this thread was to recruit (or should i say, "refer" applicants).
i mean, i was proud to be an xlibrian. i even wore the company ID with great pride when i'm in town or around call centers! hehe (hambog.)
well, anyway. after hearing my manager tell me "you dont belong here..." even before my six months were up AND even if i met all the quotas AND even if i did a lot of overtime on weekends even when my team mates never did any OT...even though my manager knows i'm a family man.. he just told me one day to stop working...and that's it. and get this, he couldnt even give me a valid reason why i didnt make it. he and my supervisor kept bringing up teensy-weensy "faults". like; i sleep during the breaks (doesnt everybody do? hey, i share the same sleep-space with my team mates, i dont see them get busted. if that was a "bad" thing. how come my manager didnt reprimand me for that?). freakin' funny...
sure.. some people get to stay there for years and years and years. they're either lucky that the company like's em' or real ass kissers or people who can tolerate office politics. i admire some of my friends who are still working there, specially the deserving ones.
well.. no one's stopping you from applying in this company. you wanna earn big bucks? go ahead.. but you've been warned.. if you happen to get in xlib and if you feel it's not working out. quit while you're still ahead...
haha! so true...!Originally Posted by FISHPEN
