    Default Scam/Modus Sellers


    Got this from a post of one member of a trading site in Manila. I just want to post it here for your info:

    Mga fellow TCP members, post ko lang po itong parang SCAM/MODUS na napansin ko ngayon dito sa TCP.

    Nabiktima na din po ako nito dati eh, last Feb 2013, kaya share ko na lang din sa inyo.

    Bale ganito po, may nakita akong nagpost ng iPhone 4 16gb black for only 8,000. Sa post nya naka detalye ung issue at FACTORY UNLOCKED daw. Ang issue lang eh nalagyan ng pin code ng pamangkin or ate ba nya un at di na maalala ung code.

    Syempre ako dahil mura nakipagdeal ako agad. Saka sabi nya sa post nya 300 lang pa restore at since FACTORY UNLOCKED naman daw madali lang mapaopen. Nung una nagalala ako na baka nakaw ung phone kasi may passcode pero alis na din duda ko at nagtry pa din ako, sabi nya kasi sa sister nya daw.

    Nagmeet kami sa Boni MRT Station, tapat ng Globe Asiatic. Syempre check ako ng unit, pag abot sakin naka passcode nga at naka airplane mode. Syempre nagtry ako maglagay ng sim card, di din mabasa dahil naka airplane mode nga. Check pa ko ng check at dahil limited nga ung machecheck ko, aun nagconfirm na lang ako sa kanya kung factory unlock nga then bayad na agad.

    After restore, ayun di pala unlock at Japan Locked pa ang phone. As usual, si seller lost na.. hehehe.

    Yesterday, may nakita na naman akong iphone 4 32gb, 8500 lang daw. wala cyang sinabing defect sa post nya so ako naman ng message sa negotiation board nya. Dahil di cya ngrereply nagtext ako sa kanya, nagulat na lang ako pag send ng message ko, cya din pala ung same na napagbilan ko ng unang iphone. Ang sabi pa sakin na di daw nya ako nakadeal before, samantalang lahat ng messages namin noon eh andun pa sa cellphone ko.

    Eto pala user name nya: imcarla, cp number 09161412177. wala na din post nya binura na din nya. Malamang makakagawa pa siya ng ibang user account dito.

    Marami ngayon akong napansin na nagbebenta ng iPhone na lock dahil sa hindi pa mauunlock ung unit sa ngayon specially ung mga Japan Lock iphone. Madami din naman talgang honest dito na nagsasabi na lock ung phone na binebenta nila. Pero meron din pong mga manloloko talaga.

    TIPS:

    - Make sure na pag makikipag meet at bibili ng iphone, same issue man or hindi eh magdala po tau ng ejector pin, kahit po safety pin pwede at micro sim para matest ang unit.
    - Kung magkataon man na passcode lock ang phone na nabili at naka airplane mode, ioff nyo and airplane mode by dialing emergency numbers like 112. Dapat mabasa nya ang sim card nyo kahit naka passcode lock ang cellphone. Hindi po No Service ang lalabas.
    - Check nyo po ang feedback ng taong pagbibilan nyo dito sa TCP, kahit may positive minsan icheck nyo ung nagbigay ng positive feedback dahil dummy account lang nila un at sila din naglalagay ng feedback sa sarili nila.
    - Makipag meet po kayo sa mga malls or sa safe na lugar kasi much better na magdala kayo ng laptop para marestore nyo ung unit agad agad. Prepare nyo na before meetup pa lang ung software na gagamitin nyo.
    - Ok po ang murang items, pero magduda pag sobrang mura kasi baka may problema. Kaya icheck ng mabuti ang unit.
    - Maging matalinong buyer po tayo, mag tanong, mag basa sa google at alamin natin kung ano ung item na bibilin natin. Ok lang maging tanga minsan pero dapat natututo tau sa pagkakamali natin.

    Post ko lang po ito para makatulong sa iba.

    Before I decided to really post this SCAM ALERT, i kept checking my ATM balance in hopes that she will eventually return my money back, after 2 weeks of patiently understanding her situation or alibis, i dont know what to believe anymore! One thing for sure, she made a big mistake by turning off her facebook profile and dodging my calls. Daghan na nagpa buyag sa ako ug bayad sa ilang utang dri pero there wasnt a time na naa koy na post na BOGUS, thats because AT LEAST they made an effort to keep in touch w/ me. Bsan usahay kabut-hunon ta, at least mainat pa atong pasensya gamay kay gi respetaran pag reply atong messages and calls. PERO KANI SYA, AMBOT SA LANGAW!

    I called her mom's number (MAMA KUNO, dli nako gatuo sa iya mga sulti) and asked her mom to contact her daughter for me. Ako pay gikasab-an. Im doing
    her daugther a favor na gali kay dli jud unta ko ganahan mag post dri sa dagway sa iyang anak!     Im posting this to reveal the deception of Ms Mai para wala nay mabiktima lain. March 16 naa syay gina bandera nga MONITOR and IPHONE 3gs dri sa akong eshop. She asked me if interested ko, she was selling it for 9k, it was a good offer but i refused tungod sa kakulangon sa sapi. Instead, i told her she can post it on my wall para makita sa tanan and she did. Walay siguroy nagka interest mupalit, the next day she texted me na ipaubos na niya ang presyo @ 6k. I buy and sell gadgets and twas a pretty good offer so I said OKAY! Ddto na nagsugod akong kalbaryo.

    So March 17 morning, we closed the deal. I contacted someone here also na nangita ug PHONE and offered him the unit of MS. MAI, told him it will be here
    in a day or two. Na close na pod namo ang deal sa akong buyer dri, he handed me the money para sure mareserve niy and uban nako, gahulat sa package na maabot.
    March 17 afternoon, MAI told me na napadala na daw ang package. March 17 was SUNDAY and dli ko ka send ug payment since walay open nga bank pag sunday so
    natingala ko nganong iya gipadala na wa pa nako mabayri. I asked for the tracking number but she couldnt provide telling me na busy kaau sya nahospital iya lola.
    Ihatag ra niya later. I said OKAY and said sorry to hear about her lola being in the hospital. The next day, MONDAY, she texted me early in the morning
    asking me to deposit my payment first thing in the morning. I TRUSTED HER WORDS AND BSAN UNSA KO KA BUSY ANANG BUNTAGA, NIADTO KO SA BANK TO DEPOSIT THE MONEY.

    Ig ka hapon, nanawag iyang MAMA (KUNU). Matud sa iyang mama "DAI GIHATUD NAKO GANINA SA LBC NAG IMONG ORDER PERO WA GIDAWAT KAY NEED DAW UG STYRO". And I answered "HALA TE, pasensya kaayo ikaw pa tawon gakapuliki BITBIT ana, Syaro wala ka sturyahi ni Mai na isulod na sa saktong packaging, gadgets baya na.. she knew better man unta since she already bought from me and she knew well kung unsa need buhaton kung gadgets imo ipadala" and her mom said "MAO LAGEH DAI, CGE LANG AKO LANG NI IPADALA UGMA". and I thanked her for making an effort sa shipment in behalf of her daughter na busy atong panahuna. 3 days after wala koy nadawat package so I texted her "TE MAI, wala pa lageh koy nadawat package, im here @ LBC, please let me have the tracking number para ako ipaTRACK nila dri". She answered Ai Rein, maayo jud nag text ka kay nawala nako imong number ( WHAT I DONT UNDERSTAND IS NAA MAN UNTAY FACEBOOK KUNG DIIN MI ORIGINALLY NAG TRANSACT AND I SAW HER ONLINE FEW TIMES ANANG MGA PANAHUNA NGA GAHULATA KO SA PACKAGE PERO SHE NEVER BOTHERED TO SEND A MESSAGE) and she added na dli nlang daw niya idayun ig baligya sa akoa ang Monitor and Phone. Disappointed as I am kay naa poy naghulat dri nga buyer and need na pod ko mag explain nganong dli madayun ang deal, ako sya gisabot kay iya lola naa sa lisud na condition. Sa walay daghang sturya ako sya gireplyan ug "CGE TE, OK RA. PLEASE DEPOSIT THE MONEY NALANG SA AKO ACCOUNT PARA MAULI NAKO
    SA BUYER". The next day, ako na pod sya gi remind then iya tubag, OK REIN, ILL DEPOSIT the money later". I kept checking my balance and wala. The next day, gi remind na pod nako sya. She said "OK REIN, tomorrow morning nalang ideposit kay her lola passed away. I sincerely offered my condelences and told her that i know shes
    busy but she would need to help me with my situation, need nako iuli ang kwarta sa buyer nga dugay ra naghulat or else ako ang ma BOGUS. Na at least naa man lang sya
    masugo para mag deposit. Then that was the last time I heard from her (March 24). Wala nako nag text niya or ga remind sa iya kay gisabot nako iya sitwasyon.. until YESTERDAY.I texted her, TE MAI, please tabangi ko. I need to return the money sa buyer. THEN when i check her PROFILE - DEACTIVATED. Usahay mo-ring iyang phone but after mapa-ring na nako, if i try to call her again.. CANNOT BE REACHED na.

    DAI MAI, AKO NA MISMO ANG MAULAW MO POST SA IMONG PICTURES DRI, WAY SUKOD ANG KAULAW. D MABAYRAN! MY REPUTATION AS A SELLER IS AT STAKE HERE BUSA TABANGI KO. IBALIK ANG KWARTA ARUN AKONG MABALIK SA BUYER. IF WALA NA ANG KWARTA, IPADALA NALANG ANG UNITS ARUN ATONG MABALIGYA, KUNG TINUOD MAN NAA NANG MGA GAMITA.

    @strings27 hi i personally know her, because she was my classmate back then sa High School. Sauna pa jud na ingun ana siya she even lost one of my classmates camera (if i remember it correctly) but we doubt if she ever did. So sad she keeps on doing things like that. i hope ma settle Miss..God Bless!
