the opponents of legal abortions are also the ones against contraception in general! there's the rub!

as what i have read (kalimot ko sa title sa book), life starts during conception/fertilization so a one month fetus is still a life, a human, a living soul...pero kung muapprove ko sa imong gisulti, kanus-a man mahibaw-an nga buntis usa ka babae?...usually, it is after two months before it is known.....yes, morality is subjective depending on what you believe in....but the end does not justify the means....whatever reasons it may be, it is still murder...

i still believe in the principle of "choice"......it is always up to the parents what they will do.....but for me, abortion won't be a resort if an individual is careful enough....

the act of murder itself is subjective.. is it evil to advance your own interest or your own survival at the cost of others?.. it is the natural law.. natural selection.. the strong and those capable od adapting to change shall live and the weak and unable to adapt shall die..

murder is sometimes necessary to achieve higher goals.. ex.. if ninoy wasnt murdered, we wouldnt enjoy democracy today...

the cost of a few for the benifit of the many is justifiable, simple economics cost/reward... the ends always justify the means...

your intentions and ideals are noble.. but sad to say in is unreal.. Though i do hope all people are like you so we dont need to do the dirty but necessary stuff...

if people have been careful not to get unwanted pregnancies ,abortion wont be a resort...but for cases like rape, for me, it is justifiable....yeah, i do hope that these intentions and ideals are present in every individual.....but too bad, the natural law is usually being followed and has been an instinct for every human being....

morality has no standard, some people will only twist it to suit them or to take away the guilt they feel from doing the wrong things over and over again..

who dictates or define what right and wrong? the bible, the Koran? your conscience?

we have our own standards of what is moral and what is not...

do you think polygamy is immoral? but what about our muslim brothers who have polygamous marriages do you think of them as immoral also?

humans are hypocrites, we judge others base on our moral standards and trying to impose on others our own moral codes...

laws are not about morality... who says laws have to be about morality? law is a contract between the state and man to preserve peace and order... the end is peace and order whatever the state do to achieve that whether its immoral or moral (from our belief) is justified...

we must obey laws... but its really unnerving when people use the word morality... and make it sound as somethig that is absolute
