been to Camotes last May 12-14/2012
First checked in PAYAG Resorts, the place was okay except for no swimming pool and the water supply is not that so abundant short water drips slowly that you cannot enjoy taking a shower.
The rooms was air condition but with lots of mosquitoes when we checked in. We stayed at the extension place meaning if ever we want to order some food or drinks, we have to walk few steps away because there was no intercom phones, when we want to order breakfast the attendees advised us that their cook is not available 24/7 meaning they have to call the cook if want to order a meal. Though nicely the stuff was approachable.
My point is not that i am discouraging to stay there but the room rates were so costly yet no facilities such as swimming pool or a dine in restaurant.
The only epic fail during our stay was the shipping company, from Cebu-Camotes it was a chaotic line to purchased a ticket adding up when go back to Cebu, A/C broke down, such a hell temperature to stay.
So we end up transferred to another resort, MANGUDLONG Resort. 5 stars for that.
PEACE!

Payag Resort you're playing for the location and I hope that place never gets a swimming pool when your got one of the best beaches in Cebu right on your doorstep. Enjoy nature the way God wanted us to! No need for swimming pools!
The ambiance at Payag is like the ones in Marigondon Beaches in Mactan, (Common ra kaayo)
I'm not discouraging anyone here peru mas maayo man gud if mohatag man gani tag comment kana pung "realistic ba" ngano ipugos man gyd nato ug hype na d man gyd kaayo nindot.
Mangodlong Paradise Beach, i would say is the best resort sa Camotes, mahal peru worth it and what you see is what you get sa personal unlike sa Santiago Bay down to Payag (over rated ra, ayaw lang kaayo ug expect ug dako.)..
But tourist spots like Lake Danao and sa mga caves kay nindot gyud nuon..
Take my words or not, kamo ra maka decide once maka-adto namo, anyway lahi2x bitaw ta ninyo ug opinion..
Today pajud mi kauli gikan camotes... nag-santiago mi kay 2 days 2 night man mi.. para dli ra kaayo dako gasto.. We stayed at Pito's. Rooms rate: P1200 with own CR and aircon, good for 2 persons... naa cla P1000 good for 4 persons pero walay aircon... ang beach mejo hugaw lang, pero ok raman.. food? lami ra sad, sulit.. friendly sad ang tag-iya sa among gi-stayhan..
Enjoy
help guys.. nagcancel ang amo gi contact nga balay nga amo gi book karong Sat. naa mo hibaw nga house/rooms nga maka accomodate og 17 pips? huhuhu paeta karong Sat nami mo adto..help us
