what about flops? dont u think that destroy's the beauty of the game too? coz if u think a technical should be charged to thrash-talking then i guess we should do the same with flops.

i think it depends on what was said...when u say thrash-talking, its really broad bro..there are levels of it that sometimes you cannot tolerate and sometimes u can..referees are humans, they have their own judgements respectively. so if someone thrash-talks, it might be too awkward for the referee to charge a technical if he thinks what was said is really something tolerable. it still goes down to the players. a real basketball player should be able to control his emotions when it comes to hearing thrash- talks, coz not all people (players, officials and the audience) think the same way u do. not everyone gets insulted to what u get insulted on and vice versa. an example of a thrash-talk is like what i told aguirre during the game, he was hitting straight 3s, so i thought i play with his mind by saying 'itsa! wa btaw sipyat sa taghap!'..now if i'm the referee, i would not call a technical on that coz first of all, there was no cursing. second, what was said was in no way insulting but instead, if u ask me or if i was aguirre, i would think its challenging. not the 'fight me' type of challenge but the 'play even better' type of challenge. i think what happened was, aguirre took it personal, he allowed my comment eat him alive. he allowed it to change his game intentions entirely. he looked like he was just waiting for just one false move from any of the players on the opposing team so he can let his anger out by hitting them the way he got hurt by my comments. he got too sensitive.

you cant make a scapegoat out of thrash-talking in terms of how you think it affects our league. this is a brotherhood..what shapes it up are the players who are MEN, that means they should control their emotions like MEN.

Point taken! You can even shout if you want anytime Just don't throw anything or try to shout at the referees nor insult them because they always have the right to eject you out of the game or give you technical or warning
