i really don't care what the reasons are. If you spread the word about forgiveness and love and then turn around and punish the very people (or people in general) you preach to that is hypocrisy in itself. regarding the massacres, yes, i did come across it while reading the bible. good thing i don't take books seriously.![]()

If I remembered correctly, there was an excerpt sa book ni Bertrand Russel about Jesus and a tree. Its not only said by Jesus, but somehting that is told that he had done.
I'll look it up and post it here.
Bertand Russel did not contend against Jesus' morality as far as I read. But he is contending against his supposed divinity.

If Jesus was really divine as what some say, then he should display the irrefutable of morality. If he does not, then he was not really divine, was he?
So, his morality is not unquestionable, but something we should question.
