Congrats to all the winners! Lots of familiar names, but that's no surprise since they really produce good images. And I really don't think it matters how many entries anyone submits. If you submit 500 good shots, it'll still be the few great shots that will stand out and win

    Default Many entries

This is in response to the complaints on photographers submitting a lot of entries.

Don't hate the player but hate the game.
Unfortunately, the rules of this photo contest made this into a numbers game. In order to win, you need to play the game accordingly and submit a number of GOOD entries. The amount of money that I have paid for excess entries, I just see it as a donation and my sign of support for the efforts of the Sinulog Foundation. (Note: I'm not rich, I'm just a working professional.)

Don't take anything away from the winners, most of them deserved it. In order to get a lot of good shots, they have been waking up at dawn straight for 11 days to shoot in the Basilica, Fluvial, and Street Parade. That requires extraordinary discipline. For their efforts, it would not be fair to them if they submit only 10 entries when there are no rule that says so.

old school naman tawon ni oi... kung naa reklamo himo dayon ug new account... can't be brave enough to use your personal account...

i submitted 8 entries only last Saturday.. mao na jud to ako gi consider nga pinakusgan nako nga entry.. naa ko kadungan nag submit ug 30++ and 120++ entries... i checked the list of winners unfortunately wala jud ila name... so it's not "just" the number of entries ..

daghana yango-ngo oi...knowing before hand na daghan Pro's nisalmot ug hobbyist nga dugay na sa photography... ang uban panginabuhi na nila ang photograhpy... so experience wise lamang ang uban..

don't you feel the challenge going head-to-head with the Pro's (-_-)

they say "it's not the bow and arrow.. it's the archer"... i think it doesn't end there... coz you have to consider the quality of the bow and arrow and the archer's skills and knowledge

next year na sad puhon .. can't wait (-_-)
