What do you prefer: Sub or dubbed?

I prefer sub... mas kasabot pa kaayo ko kung sub kaysa dubbed...

subbed. except for samurai because i heard it in dubbed first, so it was a strange experience for me the first time i heard it in its original format.

but bitaw, from what i've noticed, dubbed really sucked. a lot have complained that kapoy kuno ayo ang cge basa. but then that's what the pause button is for ryt? :mrgreen: (smart ass comment, hehe)

there are only two animes i liked dubbed: samurai x and full metal alchemist na english version. ang english translation sa subbed version and ang dubbed version are absolutely the same with some minor differences. plus the seiyus didn't speak phony. kanang naa jud emotion and dili awkward cla paminawon.

also, i find that if i dub, some of the dialogs get changed to suit the audience it's dubbed for. ila i "localize" and humor.

i prefer the subbed... i love how nihonggo sounds... besides its better that way to get myself familliar with the words. i feel like an alien watching anime if it's in english... unless of course it's really good how they did it... some are of course exceptional like ghibli movies dubbed... they're great!
