Bro, its not about incomparability. But it is about compatibility. Reason we needed more CPU cores is we run virtual environments. And as i've said, AMD needs to fix this first before they leave customers as lab rats. Same with those Opteron procies before. It was a major headache. No, not doing it again. I'd rather stick to Intel as of now. We can't risk having downtimes again. Not that I hate it, I understand Naples has a lot to offer. But switching from Intel to AMD is a scary decision as of now. To give you an idea, I am currently setting up Microsoft Server 2016 Storage Spaces with Hyper-V Failover Cluster - and you know this giant needs a lot of cores for VM allocation. Question, can you afford downtime with 1 server even running redundancy? No.
So going back to topic, i'm still subscribing to this thread and hear some other feedbacks from lab rats.![]()
for VM workload... check this out... lisod kayo tarogon ang status sa Intel sa Server Market... they have like 80%+ of the market share on that segment... oh well...

Kanang i7 7700k loaded jud na samot nag rendering, gi toyo nas intel kay kung need nimu 6 cores naa mansad silay offering hahaha, kato na nga wala pay ryzen. Karon ang 6 cores ryzen affordable naman so nganga ang intel.
