when you're playing with a team that losses more games than any team in the league ie Atlanta, Toronto, it's hard to keep your spirits high and play hard every single game. maybe it's too much for them to overcome, Jason Terry(former Hawk and currently a Maverick), has his own radio show here in Big D, was asked how it felt coming from a losing team and then playing with a top caliber team like Dallas, he said "losing almost every game takes its toll on players, most often teamwork is non existent coz most players have "to each his own" mentality and pad their scorecards so a scouting team would consider hiring them after their contracts expires". or it becomes a 9-5 job where they wear their uniforms and just show up for the games, just like what Diaw did when he was with the Hawks.

Anyway, great win for Phoenix...!!! Grabeh Diaw oi, mura ra wala nawala si J. Johnson nila. Steve Nash can indeed make players around him better.

by the way, amare's progress as far as his rehab goes was shown on TNT a little after the Spurs-Warriors game. his therapist was ecstatic and hopeful (same thing goes with mike d'antoni and suns teammates) that he'll be back ahead of schedule. :mrgreen:

If Amare comes back, ders going to be a shake-up in the West. I'll be seeing a Spurs-Suns rematch this coming playoffs anyway, with or without amare.

i don't even understand why the Mavs are not getting any respect. Dirk is even the 5th on the all-star balloting, that's just preposterous. watching almost every Mavs game, i've noticed they're just a different team from 2-3 years ago. more athletic, more emphasis on defense and a much better team work. i know they have a lot to prove but "respect" doesn't come easy. this season is their time to shine, Lakers are the team the Mavs should not look past coz they just don't match up well against them. i believe they are capable of downing the Suns (with or without amare), Memphis or even the Spurs (with or without manu).
