/me stating the Apostle's creed. need i say more?
yes the kingdom of god is within me
I'm pretty sure that GOD exist...if u ever wonder and ponder who architected this whole things (space, universe, galaxy, earth, living things...up to the minute CELLS of our body..etc) then u can never go wrong that there is one creator who is ever powerful and omni-potent...I'm afraid people will never know if a god/gods exists. thats the simple truth.
you "assume". you dont "know". you dont have proof. nothing conceivable. only imaginary.Originally Posted by tolstoi

"Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed. Results like these do not belong on the résumé of a Supreme Being. This is the kind of s**t you'd expect from an office temp with a bad attitude. And just between you and me, in any decently-run universe, this guy would've been out on his all-powerful ass a long time ago."

this things that u are indignant about are purely MAN-MADE, u can't blame GOD if somebody else's are corrupt inviduals....u can't blame GOD if crime spreads everywhere for it is human individuality who are causing this things..War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades.
they are man made, but doesnt a 'god' have a say in all these? how can everything be the way they are, so unfair and sad. there is supposed to be a god up there or somewhere to manage things.
this makes me think. sometimes i guess those group of people were right, they believe that god created the universe, and then he abandoned it. makes sense to me.
GOD gives us freewill to do whatever we want to do..if man does illegal logging then the environment will bring us floods and other calamities...what im instilling here is if only man utilizes his GOD-given freewill rightfully then we will not be able to experience those hardships in life that you've mentioned (War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption and the Ice Capades)...
OT:
side comment: we must first figure out.. what are "force majeur" (natural disasters/happenings) and what are human-related dreadful events.. maybe with the former, we can probably question Him for some justifications whatsoever...
don't you think its very unfair, to let someone clean up your mess huh?
