For me mo depend na cya sa situation. For example, most people without a college degree that are successful because some have parents who can support them in starting a business financially and they are street wise (in a good sense). Others, requires a diploma to work and from there be successful. Pero going back to the TS's question... I would say "Yes" Not all are lucky enough some students needs to work just to be able to pay for a boarding house or have allowances.

Well I have known some friends to nga naa College degree pero they are working on jobs not related to their course like call center agents, salesmen, etc. But this does not mean that a degree is useless.

Lastly all I can say is : "It's better to have it and not need it than to need it but not have it..."

same ta. na stop lang kug work kay na mommy man ko. mu 5 months na akong bb run, hinay2x lang ko balik work ani at the same time mu school sad. Thank God naka work sad ako hubby. Same mi college level sad.

There are some instances that a person might not be able to finish college but is successful in life specially financially speaking.... I guess with a college degree there would be higher chances for you to land on a nice job. But there are things that cannot be learned in school but be learned through experiences which can never be placed in papers. Well for me alone I never finished college but with the experiences that I have in terms of employment and work then that would be more than equivalent to a college degree. I am not discriminating those who have college degrees but most of the time I can see new graduates that does not even know a thing with what they actually studied and course that they actually took and finished.

If you have the means to go to college then please do. If you don't, produce means and finish college. This is a bit off from the real question but having a degree is on of the most fulfilling feeling you will have in your life. Nganu imo man esugal imong future sa negosyo na wala manay sigurado (not trying to offend someone) but if you think about it if tanan taw mag negosyo (kay mao nai mentality sa taw) then wala nai mamalit kay tanan negosyante na.
