Your forum Sir is too merge and selective, it seems to me you only open a forum for a particular interest if you think there are more members that will be interested to participate. I think it doesn't promote more conversation instead it limits the people who will join.

I'm familiar with istoryanet for almost a year now. I will not judge if I visited this site only last week or what my friends told me but I now understand where they're coming from.

ATM? what's that? anyway, good that many people are ready to defend this site but don't be sensitive next time someone comes here and have a varying opinion. Why are some folks hurt anyway, maybe there's a tinge of truth on what I've said.

Oh..u are entitled with whatever reasons u have in mind but i dnt think being sensitive would necessarily mean that there's a tinge of truth in it. Each of us has their own characteristics which others barely understand. Just because one person reacts that u gonna considered it sensitive already? I strongly believe there are lots of people around the corner who are just reading this thread..so do u think everyone of them is categorized as "sensitive" just because they reacted or will be reacting about this thread?

maybe forums for you TS is not for your characteristics or maybe your age?...well, everyday there are so many posts i encountered in all threads, so many members here are still not bored, we even have meet ups, so what we all want here is to understand each other, do your own business..

Here's my thoughts on this:

Personally, I don't find this forum boring. Interaction is quite active here, compared with some other forums wherein there is barely any interaction at all. If you believe topics are limited, you can always create a new thread (just like any thread). I'm not sure if new members such as the TS can do that at the moment, though.

Now, when you find an online forum boring (not just Istorya.net, but any forum in particular), it's best if you just keep it to yourself. As they say, "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything." And besides, it's just an online forum, so why bother about posting something like that? Isn't that a waste of your time in your part?

Now if you want to voice it out, be sure to point out the problems that you saw in the site so that constructive comments can be generated and so that the site team would know what needs to be improved.

On another note, your initial post in this thread used the word "zzzzzzzzzz", which for me is an insulting way of indicating how boring the site is. Try to avoid that in the future.

I don't quite get your suggestion... the forum is open for everyone. Our topics are already too broad. I can't comprehend your notion that we are "too merge and selective" when we don't have any specified geographical or racial requirements. If you would care to be more specific and I guess provide more details, I'd really appreciate it.

Example: Football, you have one thread for a very popular sport and it is gaining popularity in the Philis. There's La Liga thread before but they were told to merge in the EPL thread. When you are advised to stick together there are tendencies someone will have a hard time catching up with the conversation because it's so mixed up. It's hard to join the flow since the thread is very broad. It discourages more conversations. Well, you don't need a forum like ones in basketball but put it in a place for Professional Sports only. Boxing, Football, Formula One, etc, etc. then separate the Recreation Forum. You're only interested about Professional sports but you can't even create a thread before it is push below because someone will make a thread about a certain marathon, inviting everyone. It's all confusing and too merge.

Okay, you want to talk about Love, Family but anything not related go the relationship section but obviously it looks confusing that's why many threads find their way in the Love section. It's a mess.

Destination is really broad, what about a thread on where to go then another thread is solely dedicated for Boholanons, Dumaguetenos. Nice to see people merge together on where they come from.

Fashion, why not create sub forum different for men and women. Instead of putting them all together.

I can go but these are some of the things I notice here.
