Correct!!!..its good you can interpret what was wrong or missing in your image. Anyway just to point out that its ok to have more head room as long as there is something interesting or it can compliment sa subject (e.g. sky with clouds, sunsets, color of a flower garden, etc.)

You PS skills are good pero...for me mas mo lead akong mata towards the center of the image. Nya para nako busy ra kaayo ang image and since this is a portrait thread nawala iyang connection to the subject which is the girl. Plus imo pod siya gibutang far corner of the image and now I would say she is part of the framing which focuses more to the house.

para nko mas nindot cguro ni cya kng imong gtarong ang siko sa babae ky na blur... imo bani ggamitan ug motion blur sir? then ang iyang buhok ky na blend na cya sa black nga background wla na cyay detalye.. then ang iyang tunga2x sa iyang buhok. weirdo kaau tan awon mura na cya na opaw sa tunga...

For me sir I would consider these as snapshots. I would suggest starting researching about mixing ambient lighting and fill flash..

Yes Portrait ni, pero sorry to rain on your parade..saw some comments of this image in you flickr...pero para na ko over ra kaayo imong skin softening. I would also suggest not just focusing on the subject but the background to, kadtong mga cracks sa wall imo pud to unta gi PP.
