hindi sa pagmamayabang...and for reference din... we are earning that value, minimum or let me say, yan ang natatanggap sa family ko every month together with my savings.

not a big amount, compared to US or UK... but base on my experience and hard times... I didn't expect to have it... swerte2x nlng talaga and prayers

I am receiving much more than this here in Cebu as an embedded systems developer.
And even double if I could get other sideline contracts.

This can be true to others as well, if they are one of the "10x programmers".

I think you should try to consider the minimum rate designated by DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment). As far as I know here in cebu is P250-280 daily depends on the Area (eg. Lahug, Mabolo, Talamban, Mandaue etc.)

The 5k per month is not fair a rate even if you are not a programmer. But of course you know how it is in pinas. There are a lot of unemployed and lesser jobs. So sometimes we have to sell ourselves cheap if we are desperate of work. Anyway here's a link to the DOLE Wage and regulatory board. Its not updated but at least you will have an idea how much you as a programmer / employee deserve based on our Laws

Poblema sa mga new/fresh graduate programmers run kay ambisyoso kaayo. Manganduy dayun na asenso dayun. Mu.ingon na "adto kos gawas para dakog sweldo". Na la sila makarealize na mao dako ng sweldo sa uban coz they actually earned that status. I mean, how many sleepless nights they have endured for years for them to be where they are now.

Samut na run na lisud na ang economy, ayaw nalang mo pangambisyun kay call center nalang nya mu kutob if dili mu mugrab sa opportunity. Kay kanang kwarta, dali ra na. Kanang experience, mao nay lisud makuha
