@ epgarias - sir, bad news.. hehe.. right now.. im lossing.. lol.. 37k gained yesterday was gone.. is this normal sir? where can we get an idea to forecast about the stock market..
@barloval - sir, dugay naka nag trade sa stock market? how was it? pila imo starting?
Yup.. normal ra ayo na siya.. Thats why important jud ayo to study technical analysis for your entry and exit..
According to von tharp inorder to become successful in the stock market you must know three very important factors. These are trading system, money management, and market psychology.
In his pie chart iya ni gidraw as 10% trading system, 30% money management, and 60% market psychology. Ato makita ngari that even though wala ka nindot na trading system but you have a very good trading system and knowledge about the sentiments of buyers and sellers in the market then you will become very successful.
To protect your gain and reduce your risk on markets ups and downs you must have a very good money management. The basic rule here is you must not risk more then 2% of your main capital on any single stocks that you have.
Example: If you have 50K total capital. 2% of this is 1000. Mao ni siya ang maximum dapat lang na loses nimo sa isa ka stock when everything fails.
Then dapat pud nimo e diversify or ibulag-bulag imo stocks to atleast 4-5 different stocks to further lessen your risk. Putting all your money in one stock is very risky.
For the market psychology dapat kamao ka mubasa ug candlestick patterns coz diri siya makita ang emotions or market sentiment sa mga tao.
I highly advise you view this short presentation and buy the book:
"How to Control Your Emotions and Get the Trading Results You Want."
Nindot pud ang traderspizza, but the drawback is kasagaran naa didto is mga taga manila.. When naa sila mga meeting and group discussions mostly sa atoa kay isolated sa ilaha.. That is why I created this thread aron makashare2x pud ang mga taga Cebu and perhaps makahimo pud ta group na pwede ta ka discuss2x pud ug atoa.. Actually I'm also one of the active posters and sharer sa traderspizza.
Then again beware pud sa market speculations.. Maayo ra ni siya for day trading.. The best is you develop your own trading system and do your research also.. This way you will appreciate more the beauty of playing the stock market and become one of the best traders also..
Just wanted to share my opinions regarding those stocks:
For PNB, this is bound for profit taking already..
For ORE, after the big sell off and profit taking today.. Pwede na pud ni siya dulaan nasab..
This is a buy near 2.65..
For NI, this is only good for day traders or short term play..
As much as possible if investor ka kay avoid ni siya kay moving sideways
ra ni most of the time and matulog ra imo kwarta ngari..
PNB closed at 43.50 today. I got shaken out @ the TP of 37.5 a few days back. sayang.
Fundamentals: mag merge man "daw" ni sila sa allied bank, TP "daw" is 48. But im not going back in there.
Got shaken out of ORE @ 3.0 pud a few days back, went back in at 2.8 (38% FIB)
As for NI, na dala ko sa sales talk ni JAP when he was here. mao na ipit kaau @ 3.9. Still anticipating what will happen on monday kay naa man daw news.
BTW, some formations looming in the horizon. LPZ (formerly Benpress BPC) inverted H&S
NRCP double bottom.
murag outragreous ra kaau ni sila na formations esp with the new system on monday.
I agree with your opinion sa traders pizza. Medyo lisud i filter out ang noise sa tinuod. Kinahanglan gyud i review ang issues with TA para mas convincing.

The maximum average gain is about 20% yearly. If you have followed the EIP recommendation of CitisecOnline and did a money cost averaging then you should have atleast about 16.1% portfolio return in the first half of the year. But that is nothing when compared to trading the stock market (e.g. swing trading). If you have read the blog of vondave: http://www.yamanyabang.blogspot.com/. Targeting a 5% gain per month then compounding it will generate you a gain of about 79.59% a year. A huge difference when compared to money cost averaging..
@Soggy2 - Its good to attend seminars about technical analysis such as swing trading. But dili lang na siya ang source lang jud sa knowledge about trading. You can learn a lot by simply searching the internet. Diha ko naka learn mostly sa koa swing trading na technique. I tell you sayon ra jud ayo ang swing trading. Been using that since I started in the stock market.
