Latest for Joe DeVance, this kid's for real!! DeVance scored 38 points in a losing effort for Welcoat against the powerhouse Talk N' Text. DeVance scored 22 points in the first half alone. Though, the PhonePals just proved that they're too much and DeVance's 38 point-effort is not enough. Jay Washington and Mark Cardona led Talk N' Text with 20 points while Asi Taulava, Jimmy Alapag, and Don Allado had 18 points apiece atop Renren Ritualo's 12.

DeVance is averaging 36.5 points a game in the pre-season tournament.

Welcoat now has a reliable scorer(maybe Devance is Welcoat's only relaible scorer) that's why he's putting up such large numbers on the board..It is interesting though how the other team members will adjust and respond to the challenge of supporting Devance's talent

Nelson Asaytono-like numbers, but can DeVance really keep such numbers in the PBA? Interesting. I really hope Jojo Tangkay will be back to Welcoat's line-up very soon, he's one of the Dragons more reliable scorers.
