Tried minglanilla district volunteer work. In my honest opinion it doesn't work.
All in all, it doesnt increase your competency kay low tech kaayo ang MDH and cases there are very mundane(case in point: AGE is considered a good case na didto, hello
Acute gastro enteritis
magka buang na dayon ang mga nurses.. as if!)
reason being, most of the good cases are reffered to big hospitals of course. On a lighter note, MDH is a good way to have an easy certificate, kay walay hasul...imu 6 months, mahimu ug one year?!? imagine. Duty is not everyday pa jud. 8 times in a month lang.
Feeling intellegent and skilled(if i know kapila kaha ni take ug balik2x sa boards)
Honestly, it is sad kay New RN's will grab the oppurtunity sa MDH kay wala may lain and again because of the 1 year na cert na ihatag for your 6 months volunteer work. Its an easy bang!
At the end of the day, it is really YOUR choice and decision that matters kung mag volunteer ka sa MDH. I hope this enlightens everyone who has this fairytale notion about Minglanilla District Hospital nurse volunteer program.
