Do they have to take the overpaid contract of Landry Fields? He's the one they offer to grab Steve Nash away from the Knicks. There's a conspiracy humor post in other forums that they may withdraw the offer for Fields? That's a big blow for Fields on their agreement. It's just only a nonsense though.

No they won't withdraw . We're already have Fields on the wishlist , it's just coincidence the NYK was pursuing Nash too and would S&T Fields . Might as well get Fields and block a possible Nash trade to a division rival -- hitting 2 birds with 1 stone .

6 mil in 1st 2 yrs ain't bad for a young hardworking athletic wingman that can rebound and defend . This is a gamble (like any other signings) but not a careless one .
