one thing i love about abscbn is their station ID.... the best para nko kato cla mga comedians headed by comedy king Dolphy, nka formal attire and firm straight faces with comment that goes" seryoso kami mag patawa!"
and all the other station ID's...nice jud kaayo. theyre simply the best and it needs no explanation.

Yeah, I remember that. It was also during that season when they had a station ID for Drama Anthologies and Soaps where in the they made the stars dance and get wacky to the song "HAPPY" and at the last part...BOOM!...serious na pud sila....nice pud to.

congrats to both tv stations for bringing fame sa country.! ako ra i quote ang sa abs huh? kamo na bahala sa pikas mag quote sa inyo hehehe.

ABS-CBN received a Gold World Medal for Variety Special for the 10th Anniversary Special of Bantay Bata 163. Aside from that, the Kapamilya Network received three Silver World Medals and Finalist Certificates for three shows. In addition, Korina Sanchez was given a Finalist Certificate for the category Best News Reporter.

KAPAMILYA AWARDS. Incidentally, the Bantay Bata 163 10th Anniversary Special that earned a Gold World Medal in the New York Festivals also bagged the Best Special Award during the 17th Golden Dove Awards of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP).

Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda's morning show Boy & Kris received the Silver World Medal for Talk/Interview. Meanwhile, Mars Ravelo's Lastikman starring Vhong Navarro earned the Silver World Medal for Action/Adventure.

ABS-CBN Chief Correspondent and News Anchor Korina Sanchez was honored with a Silver World Medal for Investigative Report for her expose on substandard food supplements. The female broadcaster revealed that the actual Gluthatione content of whitening products in the Philippine market was way below their supposed content.

The New York Festivals also recognized Sanchez as a finalist for the category Best News Reporter.

The three Kapamilya shows that were given Finalist Certificates were Kung Fu Kids for Children's Program, Wowowee for Family Program (wala lagi ang eat bulaga? hahaha), and Rated K for Magazine Format.

I guess, the main reason why ABS still owns cebu until now is due to the ever loyal general character of the cebuanos. We follow our instincts and not the trend of others. We aren't fazed by some negative publicity that competitors throw at ABS. Although, we admit that sometimes they had their share of flaws but we don't jump ship immediately. We have this forgiving nature for the things we like/love. Just like a real family, we always go home to ABS. I, for one, don't really like this network war. I don't tolerate my kapwa kapamilyas to pick fights with the others. As much as I can, I don't badmouth our counterparts if provoked. I am just contented with the personal connection I have with this network and I am confident that ABS will stay no. 1 in Cebu and the most of Visayas for so long...
