For all those who said that Utah's situation at the 4th spot is unfair for other teams (this includes me):

Utah will not have homecourt advantage in the first round in the playoffs even though they're placed 4th in the West not unless they'll have a better record than the teams placed below them. The team that has the better record will have homecourt advantage and that's Houston (for now) even they're placed 5th. But no matter what happens, Utah will be keeping the number 4 spot the least because they have won the division title.

Deron Williams had the last laugh after Carmelo Anthony approached him last summer saying that Denver will win the division title.

"Carmelo, I'm sorry buddy." --> Deron Williams after the win over New Orleans.

Carmelo Anthony is overconfident, and who wouldn't when he's got Allen Iverson and a bunch of very reliable stars, even one of the best defenders in Marcus Camby. They just proved that individual talent is not enough to make it big but it's not yet too late.

The Lakers lost, naa pa chance ang Phoenix makaapas for the 3rd seed. :mrgreen:

Golden State vs Denver at Oakland next. This is expected to be a war.

Denver right now reminds me of Phoenix Run n Gun without defense but the difference Phoenix has winning record  posting more than 50 wins in each of the last 3 seasons..

Denver right now reminds me of Phoenix Run n Gun without defense but the difference Phoenix has winning record posting more than 50 wins in each of the last 3 seasons..

Phoenix have Steve Nash and is playing as a team and that's what made them different from Denver. Phoenix used to have Stephon Marbury playing alongside Amare Stoudemire and Shawn Marion once and they barely made it to the playoffs, and the three of them are even posting stellar numbers. Phoenix's defense is a big liability but still they were able to win at least 50 games every season since Nash returned to the team and created noise in the playoffs. It's a testament that teamwork will prevail over individual talent.
