i understand being the president he is responsible. i agree that he is accountable of the outcome but blame everything to him? blame the previous administration for producing such incompetent "SWAT" unit. my point is not to jump in conclusion that it's all his fault. probably we could analyze the root cause of why it ended that way. i'm sure he's not just sitting and doing nothing. if we were more concerned, how much more our president?

and you said not to mind how the situation was handled? of course yes because the success of it depends on how it was being carried. we have PNP chiefs whom we expect to carry out an effective plan. and who would have expect our SWAT are that lousy?

i don't want to argue further. i just want to read constructive comments. if you don't like our president (whom i also did not vote), at least give him the support he needs for this country to prosper. blaming in every bad circumstances that happen to us is just a waste of time, a lazy man's wages. but if you really need to blame, do it softly and instead praise loudly. that's the spirit.

he is the president for crying out loud! he should have the balls to at least own up to it to the people of hongkong and not put his country to shame. never mind how the situation was handled... ok lets give him the free pass "because he doesn't have any control over mendoza" but he sure as hell have control over his words and how he behaves. smiling and acting as if nothing happened is very unbecoming for somebody his stature.

a tragedy just happened, involving foreigns at that. the gravity of it all... its a shame not only for people in this country but especially for the filipino workers abroad. especially those in hongkong! can you imagine how it would feel like being in their shoes right now? filipinos working abroad (especially the DH and those working blue collar jobs) are already looked down upon...they certainly don't need another reason to be spited and humiliated. and they definitely dont need a president who would inflict that kind of humiliation on them!

the hell with those who says the president should not be blamed! he is president, he have all the powers to intervene but he didnt even try. being the president makes him accountable. HE IS THE PRESIDENT SO HE IS ACCOUNTABLE!

we pay our taxes and we certainly have the right to demand and rant about how incompetent noynoy is. he is nothing but a lousy excuse for a president.

Pnoy try to justify the failure of the Police in handling the situation as acceptable to him. He also states that even Russia during the 2002 theater hostage crisis was not able to stop the hostage taker with there elite and well trained Police.

He forgot to mention that what happen in Russia was the theater was taken by 40-50 Chenchen separatist, kinda professional killers or terrorist and the issue way way broad. Its kinda of a done deal already and those hostage taker are suicidals. There is no comparison to what just happen to us compare to that one in Russia.
Pnoy should dig more into the issue before opening his freakin mouth or he is just sleepin during the 12 hour ordeal and just watchin Pilipinas Win na Win instead of acting as President and a Commanding In Chief of the Philippines.
