religious and tight people tend to hate Dan Brown. just look at what happened with Da Vinci's. the Vatican went gaga over it, even banning the book in some countries. i mean what the heck. people fail to see that the facts are purposely blended with fiction and there's nothing more to it. i love his books.
Well its obvious man sad Chad but I was asking kung unsa man diay jud iya professional background, kay it seems to me na the way people him look up at him is like He's some sort of expert on something or another...at least Sitchin has major in economic history and journalist/editor for many years..
i think he has a BA in english literature i am not sure, but compared with the senile old man sir hellblazer spoke of, at least the senile old man has 30 plus honrary degrees, a phd in medieval aesthetics, and have written breakthrough works in academe. so at least the senile old man has some credence when he speaks about what he speaks about.
ty, ok man sab diay ni ang Theosophy...
kaning "To discover knowledge not only thru handed information but by way of personal experience & conviction. " unsa pasabot ani ninyo? mo join ug practice sab mo aning Wicca, occult, mysticism, rosicrucianism, mystic warrior ug uban pa? then mo practice sab mo different religion? para gyud naa personal experience, dba?
and is that supposed to impress me like it impressed you, prof? if it's any consolation to you, i have some of umberto eco's books and i enjoyed reading them too. but at least i didn't have the calibre to call him an idiot. well, you're the professor, i'm not, so i guess i don't have the authority to call anyone an idiot. and what's a phd with 30+ honorary degrees have to do with dan brown's success? umberto eco will never be dan brown. and vice versa. it's like you're comparing two great but different authors. my advice: keep your judgmental characteristic to yourself, prof. it doesn't look good on a professor teaching philosophy at usc. not good at all. cheers.
