guys, i really wish some of you guys can be regular participants too because i also need experienced people to join the class... the class will most likely be chaotic if there arent any... so please start spreading through word of mouth or something... and as soon as i get back to cebu permanently im starting the class

hahahaha thats greatly apprecaited.. unless something comes up the schedule will be tths and the prices will be around 800 pesos per month... the club name will be "DEFTAC Gracie Barra Cebu" and as of now... alvin said he will come over every now and then to promote people and teach seminars... He will also be sending two purple belts every few months... how does that sound? we have the curriculum ready for the frst three months or so too... and i've started teaching some of the beginners class over here to get some treaching experience

i'll try to invite as many people as i can. and people from other arts practicing in baseline. it would also help if we can make a banner so we can hang it in baseline

the reason we chose baseline is cause it's aldie's(smokoy) place and we already have most if not everything setup... im not even sure if the judo people are willing to let us use their mats.... but its a good suggestion... keep up the flow of suggestions guys...

guys, i suppose i have to explain the reason why i charge 800 a month or 150 per session.. just so i promote transparency.... half of that money goes to baseline.. regardless,the other half goes to me trying to recuperate my expenses.... mats, training over the past 3 years, etc... you have to understand that in manila you cannot find prices like this.... over there, its 2000-3000 a month(being taught by purple belts) and that is what i have been paying for 3 years.. and the only reason why i drastically lowered the price is because i have to seek a compromise between spreading the art in cebu and recuperating my expenses.... i hope everyone understands why i have to set the price at this rate and cannot lower it anymore than it already is... i also charge 800 pesos because i dont believe i deserve anymore than that.... i am a blue belt 2nd stripe.... to any other martial art it may seem like a low rank but i can guarantee you that in brazilian jiujitsu it takes a lot longer.... trust me im not going to be teaching u haphazard techniques.... i have had at least a year and a half of teaching experience in grappling classes and the curriculum and techniques that i will be discussing are those that have already been approved by a black belt with over 15 years of experience... Alvin Aguilar... so i hope everyone will support me in this, in particular to those i have already trained with previously, and the very least to the new guys, if you are interested pay for a months session and if its not your sport no worries, happens to a lot of people... i wont call you a quitter... just give the art a try... its an incredible martial art... i want to thank the guys who have expressed their support already... jimi, chris, arnold,aldie, and all the other guys... lets seriously make this work... thanks..
