hi, i was wondering if anyone out there is interested in film making or video editing? i am really interested in organizing a small group of independent film makers. dreaming out loud.

Komusta mga bisaya. Kung nia mo karon niini nga forum sayod ko nga ang inyong pasyon o hilig sa paghimo ug usa ka salida maoy nag-aghat kaninyo aron moabot mo deri. Parehas nako, mituyo ko ug anhi tungod usab sa akong pasyon sa paghimo ug usa ka pelikula. Pero naay panultihon sa inengles nga...All great things start with small steps. So magsugod sa ta sa ginagmay, who knows pilay palad sa unggoy mosikat diay ta lol.

Bitaw, kinsay interesado mahimong Coordinator/Line Producer nako para sa usa ka short film nga akong pagahimoon in the months to come....probably towards the end of this year. I am currently based abroad but mouli ko for my vacation so instead maglulinghayaw ko, maghimo na lang ko ug pelikula nga gamay tungod kay mao man ni ako pasyon. I have studied filmmaking for a year diha sa IAFT pero wala nako mapractice akong gieskwelahan kay lagi nangita man ta ug klaro nga trabaho kay let's be honest dili ingon ana kadali mangita ug kwarta sa filmmaking arena. Pero ang akong pasyon wala mawala. So with my little money, I can now produce my own short film lang usa. Ang ako plano is to shoot it either in Leyte (my hometown) or Cebu. But I need someone to be my point of contact to prepare me the way. In-short siya akong co-producer/line producer/coordinator whatever you call it para motabang nako sa pag-andam sa tanan. I will produce (financially 100%), write and direct. Script is ready just needs fine tuning na lang. Since ginagmay ra ning atoa...I may not pay you or kung naa man gali minimal lang kay ifocus nako ang budget sa other expenses....but you will have the credit as Line producer...and of course the opportunity to learn is big kay incharge ka from scout location, hiring of crew, and talent scouting/audition. Of course you will do it at your free time.

So mao ni ang qualities sa akong gipangita:

- dapat lumad nga bisaya ka or makasulti ug makasabot ug bisaya kay bisaya atong form of communication plus you might be travelling around cebu or leyte for the location scouting at no cost to you. So kinahanglan makainteract ka sa mga bisaya pud.
- dapat naa kay pasyon sa paghimo ug movie bisan wala pa kay madawat nga sweldo...pero ayaw kabalaka dili ka magutman ug dili ka mogasto bisan piso gikan sa imong bulsa. Labor of love lang ang akong gipangayo nimo plus commitment
- mas maayo naay background sa filmmaking...producing aspect..., kung wala okay ra basta willing ka molearn...I can teach you gikan sa akong nahibal-an gamay from school.
- Walay ego...ug respectful. Bisan unsa ka passionate or kamayo ang tawo sa art kung egoistic ka nga pagkatawo wala kay ayo kay you can not work with other people. So you should be able to work with me, and respect me as your boss (bisan wala taka gisweldoan)...don't worry Im the coolest boss on earth. Since we are all newbies ani we will learn from each other
- committed. Dapat mogahin ug oras o willing mosakrepsyo sa iyang oras para ani nga project.
- HONEST. Capslock dyo na para klaro. Since we do not know each other personally and have not met in person. You should be honest and trustworthy knowing nga I am not there to follow you around kung imo bang gigamit sa sakto ang kwarta nga akong ipadala para sa mga requirements.

So, kinsa tong mo-fit sa akong gidescribe above. Please PM me with your name and a little background of yourself, a little resume of some sort or as to why I should hire you for this job. Then I will select maybe three nga akong ischedule for skype interview (since Im based abroad nga) para we can see each other sa video to prove nga we are all human beings and not robots. Then sa mapalad nga mapili, you will be my initial partner for this great adventure and who knows this will be a start of something big that will come along our way.
