changed the GPU (Asus Strix RX-560 4GB) sa akoang Dinosaur gaming & video editing rig (FX-8320) to a MSI Armor RX-580 8GB... GTX 1070 Ti unta akoang paliton pero, bottleneck man akoang AM3+ platform. no plans pa ko to jump into Ryzen or Coffee Lake kay ok pa's alright man ni ang FX-8320 basta pair-ran lang ug GPU na swak niya. ok ni siya sa aning RX-580... akoang gi OC'ed to 4.4 GHz and in playing Battlefield 1, above 60 fps ang max @ Ultra GFX preset and 1080p resolution @ 60 Hz (no need for me to change into a higher resolution ang higher refresh rate monitors. gasto na kaayo)...

the rig is a Relic but w/ a Kick... hehehe...






with the outgoing GPU...



RX-580 @ stock speed... i-OC pa ni nako... na bz pa ang tiguwang diri... ehehehe...



up to 1333 MHz ra kun akoang i-populate ang 4 DIMM slots and i-OC and FX-8320 to 4.2 ~ 4.4 GHz. pero, kun duha lang akoang gamiton na mem modues, ma OC nko sila to run into 1866 MHz... stock speed nila kay 1600 MHz. sayang man kun dili nko gamiton ang tanan (4 x 8 GB) kay main intention nko sa ani na build kay for video editing hobby man... ah, ok ra ni siya sa 1333 MHz mem speed woi...





at last, I had managed to configure the 32 GB system ram to run ! its stock speed (1600 MHz). i'll rest my case now in OC'ing this Dinosaur rig... its a Relic but w/ a kick... hehehe...

last night, i had purchased an AIO cooling system for my temporary HTPC. GFX is provided by a Powercolor HD7850 2GB. the AIO is a Deepcool Maelstrom 240 RGB. though this rig will be my back up gaming rig once i'll change its CPU chip to a FX-6300. once that will happen, i'll use back the original HTPC rig... its a A4-3300 w/ HD 7770 and running Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS

i know that this is a "Relic" rig but it still serves my gaming needs very well and again, no need to do a platform upgrade for now...
