just upgrade your firmware bro.. current games = current firmware. but not necessarily the latest one.

daghan kaayo openings si jinouga. just break the horns para madali siya ma-exhaust. always use ice element weapons to strike the head for an easy win.. hit the legs para mastumble. hit the back para mawala ang charge. DONT use shock trap, maka-add up na sa iya charge.

try hunting the 5 star rathalos quest.

or the 6 star rathalos and rathian quest.
11/14 Hunt Rathalos, Rathian Deserted Island Day 8400z 1400z

i went through the same ordeal as you. i completed my rathalos armor set ONLY after capturing the rathalos and killing the rathian at 6star quest. nadugay pud ko..
