Pnoy try to justify the failure of the Police in handling the situation as acceptable to him. He also states that even Russia during the 2002 theater hostage crisis was not able to stop the hostage taker with there elite and well trained Police.
Kawawang Presidente mag cge lang gyod cguro ni sya sunod unsa isulti sa iya mga alipores maski sayop ang mga data nga gi hatag.
He forgot to mention that what happen in Russia was the theater was taken by 40-50 Chenchen separatist, kinda professional killers or terrorist and the issue way way broad. Its kinda of a done deal already and those hostage taker are suicidals. There is no comparison to what just happen to us compare to that one in Russia.
Pnoy should dig more into the issue before opening his freakin mouth or he is just sleepin during the 12 hour ordeal and just watchin Pilipinas Win na Win instead of acting as President and a Commanding In Chief of the Philippines.

ABS CBN news has always been biased. They just air out what they think is a good story. They do not investigate deeper, or even have the courtesy of asking the side of the other party. They just air what they think would catch the attention of the mass.

In the case of the hostage taking, they are just covering their A**es because clearly they had a big error on their end. They also had a commentator interview the hostage taker while the crisis is on going. What part in the work would someone allow a station to do this. Again, because they just want the big news, they did it. Now that a lot are dead, they start cleaning the mess.

the news, everywhere you go, is considered entertainment... it is not just ABS-CBN or GMA for that matter... just look at CNN, MSNBC, FOX.... they are all there for entertainment value... you want hardcore, raw news? go to sites like LIVELEAK, etc...

just look at CNN, for example... it is funny to see advertisements in there disguised as legitimate news articles... lol... go to the Tech section and you'll know what i'm talking about...

back to the topic.... why do you think they kept on broadcasting the said event?? let's be real... because it's entertaining... you just can't deny that.. people love watching other people in desperate and serious situations... especially when people get killed... call me heartless but it's the truth... why do you think news about murder sells??

Manila SWAT team looks like a bunch of unorganized, untrained and unprofessional police force. A fail operation costs 8 lives.

1.) they had hand guns vs the hostage taker had an M16. Hmmm...

2.) they had ONLY ONE hammer to break the windows.

3.) the ONE & ONLY hammer has to be shared, they hit a couple times at the side, then couple times at the front. AT LEAST bring TWO hammers. With TWO hammers: at least, they can distract the hostage taker by hitting both front and back at the same time.

4.) They used a robe to tie to the front DOOR of the bus and use another car to pull it. Guess what? THE ROBE BROKE and the front door remains standing.

5.) During earlier, when the hostage taker allowed one old person and the travel tour guide to go washroom. The hostage opened the front door and was exposed. WHERE WAS THE SNIPERS? Could have sniped him down right there in the head.

6.) They sent-in useless and scared SWAT Team at the end, and the Snipers were like Spraying bullets at they bus' front windshield WHEN CLEARLY the hostage taker is DEAD already hanging at the side window.

7.) What was the point of throwing a party-like glowstick at the bus?

8.) If you have played COD: MW2, Bad Company 2 or Counter-Strike, you could have done a better job than the so-called "Manila's SWAT team"

9.) SWAT stands for Sorry, We're All Trash.

10.) The government didn't censored the media as the hostage taker was all aware of their operation since the bus has a TV.

Foreigners will never visit Failippines after the incident. So obvious!! Also, OFWs in Hong-Kong will be treated as lepers and will be a target of hatred by the HONK-kongers. Hahayzz...

one thing i've noticed on abs-cbn that so amusing..

they dont report bad news about the govt. or just a few seconds..
since when?since the brother of Kris became pres..
opposite to Gloria's time where they hype even isolated cases..

...No wonder 24 oras.. is the better news program on ratings

yes we never prosper..coz we keep on voting popular yet incompetent leaders...
Its a wake up call!now we saw the effect!

If you define delegation as transfer of obligations and power...then it also means transfer of knowledge and proper ideas and strategies..

I bet AbNoynoy... was trembling and just smoking ...observing
and no clear solutions being done...

    Where's the essence of leadership?

    FAIL!
